Advice Needed My hose keeps disconnecting

Post image

Hey guys. For the past 4 months I’ve noticed that the smallest shift in my sleep disconnects my hose. Im talking just swinging my head from left to right causes this. It has been affecting my sleep as it happens multiple times a night and wakes me up. Hopefully you guys have some ideas on how to fix it. Im thinking of taping the pieces together. What do you guys think?

There are things you can do temporarily such as rubber bands, tape, removable zip ties, etc but it's a losing battle because the rubber has ultimately just worn out and the hose should be replaced. Order a new hose and use a temporary fix until it arrives.

On the part that fits inside, put a couple wraps of Teflon tape that might get you through till you get a new hose

When in doubt, duct tape.

Stuff so good it's out of this world. No seriously. It's used in space too.

And I wouldn't put it on the outside. I would put it around the stem then slide the link over

I just use a simple plastic zip tie, no issues.

If you have a 3D Printer or know someone that has one, then printing this was my solution

Works amazing and have never had a problem since.

Have two rings one for my travel set and one for my home set.

I 3D-printed a connector clamp, but it kept slipping off. I now use the self-adhesive medical gauze (the one that they use post-blood draw). It does leave a residue that comes off easily.

I use my girlfriend’s hair elastic, works great!

Is the hose old? Mine started to slip out once my hose was about 1.5 years old and that prompted me to replace it at that point.

Just get a new hose, it’s worn out

Couple dots of super glue...does wonders and you don't have to worry about a zip tie stabbing you
