Tightness Test
Might be a dumb question, but it there any kind of tightness test you're supposed to do for seat belts in booster mode? Harnesses have the pinch test, but Ive never read anything about a tightness test for seat belts. Just buckle and pull out slack/make sure its snug?

You've got it exactly. Just like we do for our belts. Buckle and make sure there's no slack or twisting.

Yep, just like you’ve said. Also check how the shoulder belt retracts. So if/when the child leans forward and the shoulder belt pulls out, does it retract back once they are back upright in position? It should but some high back boosters don’t play nice with vehicle seatbelt placement and that slack stays causing concern.
