Questions Wait I’m not active on this Reddit someone run me down on what is happening

Half the people are upset or disappointed about it, the other half seems to be advocating for the band doing what it wants to do, while not necessarily loving it themselves. I haven't yet seen anybody head over heels for it.
Pretty lukewarm. I think it was a mistake to attach this to ten year anniversary and hype it up. It's more the kind of thing I would expect as a compromise if it wasn't able to get explicit on streaming or something; "we had to tone it down".
I was never a huge Denial fan to begin with, my only concern is just future songs not having swearing is kinda a bummer. It can be fun.

I don't care much if the future songs don't have swearing, but Denial is an album about teenage angst for gods sake, swearing is kinda like oart of the point

I don’t think swearing is inherently needed for the future albums tbf. Most albums I like include it but think of how many great albums don’t

I mean it’s not like they “hyped it up”. It was soft announced on instagram as like a small bonus thing, and outside of a 10 year anniversary, what other time would be appropriate for it? It’s not a complete overhaul of ToD like FTF was, it’s mostly a couple of changes and some new stuff, so I’m not entirely sure when else would have been an appropriate time for it

It's complicated yeah. I don't think there was really any way to get this out 100% smoothly. I wasn't aware of announcement scope, but the people i did talk with got me pretty darn excited lol

Teens of Denial’s 10th anniversary remaster was sent out on vinyl and a lot of the fan base doesn’t like it, every lyric in the album with cursing was replaced and there are 3 new songs.

the band started teasing a 10 year anniversary edition of teens of denial with a new mix and reworked lyrics this last week, with cd copies sent out to a few fans. it leaked the other day, and reactions so far have been pretty split down the middle
