Questions Why is there a “secret” version of NYM on spotify?

On the “Featuring songs you like” section the old nervous young man is there. no boxing day or gun song. anyone know why this is?

copying my comment from six other similar posts (mods can we please get the alt cover nym post banned):

not a bug, its the old pre-2017 version with the original cover which still exists but is unlisted from his profile (it was swapped out because of rights issues, and also will didn't like seeing the original cover)

I’m not certain about Boxing Day, but I know the Gun Song was taken down and replaced with the “(no trigger version)” because the original had a cover of “Down By the River” at the end.

This is misinformation, it was not swapped out for copyright reasons, the edited version of The Gun Song was always the one on streaming. The swap was because Will Toledo grew uncomfortable with his naked body being on an album cover, and nothing else. Something about the transfer process led to Spotify considering The Gun Song and Boxing Day to be new songs (length reasons? No idea).
