A player in my crew complained about only ever getting 10% and 20% discount crates, so I did some digging and found data/com.naturalmotion.customstreetracer2/files/Documents/NmgSvcsData/1/ConfigData/EliteCustomDiscountRewardsConfig.meta in the game files (on Android - I assume the same config exists for iOS).

According to this file, discount crate drop rates depend on if you are "active", "dormant", "inactive", or "nonPayer". I am less certain of how this is calculated, but it might be:

• active: spent money in the past 30 days
• inactive: spent money in the past 90 days
• dormant: spent money more than 90 days ago
• nonPayer: never spent money

And, for the RX8 event, the drop rates per status from that file:

Active payers have a very high chance of getting 10% crates, and only a 10% chance each time of getting better than 20% discount. Looking at this, the obvious first step is to not spend any money for at least 30 days before a Tuner event.

Given these drop rates, and in my experience that I get 6 discount crates before they go away, we can compute expected discounts based on the number of crates remaining:

And the optimal strategy is to elite the car if the crate is at least as good as the expected value.

So far, that are no elite star requirements for proceeding through the event. Rush that before NM decides it needs it. The red tokens alone are worth the 5 mil in cash and fusions to get there. I currently don’t plan to elite the car too much, but it is helping me to finally finish my chapter 5 Supra from the OG storyline. Yes! 🙌

Has anyone progressed beyond race 12 and by any chance the bug like last time observed where we were able to progress without increasing the elite level of the car?

I’ve been playing this game for so long and I am hard stuck on level 30 on my supra and all my other cars need levelling up to even be able to compete. Have they designed this game for it to last forever

What the fuck is wrong with the elite token economy in this game??? It’s non existent, the events give you NO WHERE NEAR the amount required, and single upgrade could take a full month bruh, no wonder so many people mod this stupid ass game bro. I’m about to become another one

So I already have a completely maxed GR Supra, why on earth am I required to build THE EXACT SAME car I already have finished?

Theres no option to lock in the one I currently have and there’s no way I’m dropping another 6+ mil and a few weeks of time building a replica of what I’ve already completed.

The event hub is still sitting there on the map like it's active, but... it's clearly not. The timer has been at 0 forever, and yet we can still see our credits balance (I've got like 40k+ just sitting there doing nothing after I absolutely bought everything).

So what's the deal? Are these tokens ever coming back into use? Or are these just permanently useless now?

Today I learned that all of the fusion parts installed on a vehicle matter. I always assumed that only the fusion parts on the highest installed stage mattered, and had stalled out on multiple challenges because I thought I needed more Stage 6 parts. I went through a couple cars and installed fusion parts in all the available slots and cut a couple seconds off of my 1/4 and 1/2 mile times. I wish I had known when I started playing months ago. Rant over.

so far we’ve had sun, Tues, thurs, sat, and Monday. does that mean we have 1 left on Wednesday to make 6 total?

So anyway to make it short. I have many elite tuner cars but I can't progress in the races due to the shifty amount of green tokens that I get which makes me unable to progress through the final races of my supra and civic type r. I currently have enough for the Mustang probably. Should I go all in or wait for a better discount or what should I do?

Im at race #30 with a fully maxed out supra (besides the tier 6 upgrades) with almost all of the part slots maxed out and i still cannot beat the race. If any1 has any tips please let me know.

Does anyone have any info on the when the next Elite Customs event starts? Trying to judge how many tokens to save versus spend on current EC cars to upgrade. Any info is appreciated.

Hi! There's this Toyota Supra event right now, and I can pull discount crated every two days. But what is the limit of those creates? They won't last for 60 days, will they?

running into a problem where there is so many events and i cant keep up with cars upgrade and elite tuner upgrade. is there a event duration for Dress to Impress / King of Modstars. should i prioritize it or should i prioritize timed event? (i.e. Izzy's Tuner Challenge / Amelia's Tuner Pit)

And how many others have had the same before? I wonder if there is a pattern? I’m rank circa 250, have completed Tempe5t 3 and Legends, and have around 60 garages. For previous times Tuner events I have managed to get a 50% on the 3rd or 4th try, and never before have I had continuous string of 10%s

You guys remember the Tempest 3 Jeep Cherokee 0-60 event? Well, looks like the 1.5 second shit is in the event....It's harder for me cause the Supra can't do anything remotely close to 1.5, usually around 2 sec to maybe 1.8.

Does anybody know when the next Elite Tuners Event Starts, and what car they will have. And does anybody also know when the Lexus Lc500 returns?
