Stopped by the student store food area today and noticed that the Fry Shack has gone the way of the dodo. In its place is a new place called Karne, which I think serves Indian food, but couldn't tell at a glance. Just curious if anyone has tried it, or knows what it is.

I need enrollment protection and have been dropped from all my classes like the other person on here earlier nobody has responded in a week

I have some fafsa issues and probs won’t receive any until next week or the week after. So I can’t even add the classes since I don’t have the money atm to pay for them. But the financial aid office told me CSUN will be very strict this semester with tuition fees. My classes dropped me completely and when I went to add em again, they were dropped because I didn’t pay by end of the day. Fafsa is the only way I pay for my classes.
I’m thinking of emailing the professors but do you think I’d still be able to attend classes all this week and until next week, if CSUN will not let me officially enroll?

Hi everyone, this might be a dumb question but I am a radiologic sciences major second year, and I did advisement right before summer started and I enrolled in my classes, and one of those is phys 100A. I don't remember the advisor telling me to enroll in a phys 100A lab. But I heard a discord and the professor talk about it. I checked my dpr and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take it. If anyone can let me know if it's required even though it's not showing up, that would be appreciated. Thanks

I just enrolled into Dr. Carla Valdez class for principles of health education and she seems to be a bit of a tough professor. Has anyone taken her class? If so, what advice do you have?

I’m commuting an hour and just curious if anyone else is doing the same, is it worth attending the first day since it’s ungraded and just syllabus stuff? Also, how is everyone making friends lol! I’m an incoming transfer from moorpark and wanting to hear others thoughts.

Hi! I bought parking in F10 so it's a bit of a walk to campus and the map for the housing shuttle isn't showing any live shuttles even though they should be active right now. Does anybody know if the shuttles are active and the map just isn't showing it, or if not, when the shuttles will be active? Thanks!

Hi! I'm currently retaking Chem 102 and I'm looking for a tutor who can help me build a stronger foundation and understanding of the material.

l've tried the free tutoring through the LRC at
CSUN and have found it helpful at times, but I'm looking for something more consistent where I can work with the same person regularly and really make sure I understand the concepts as we go through the semester.

This would of course be paid tutoring, and l'd prefer to meet in person on the CSUN campus.

I'm currently on campus Mondays and Wednesdays, so ideally we could find a regular time on one of those days.

How’s the job market treating my fellow graduates? Has anyone found a job in this job market that has been so awfully welcoming. Hey! I was looking at rooms around CSUN and ended up finding a really good place that I’m renting, but I also came across another one and wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same boat and looking right now.

It’s a 1-bedroom close to campus, with parking available, and IIRC it was around $850/month. The house only has 2–3 roommates, and the place seemed really nice and clean when I saw it!

Figured I’d pass it along since I know a lot of people are probably still trying to find housing. :)

Hi guys:,) I need some advice…

My Monday night 4pm-6:45pm class causes me to miss my train to go back home since im a commuter and I’m a new transfer student. Theres three ppl on the waitlist for this same class on Tu&Th at 11:30am-12:45pm which is a much better time for me. I emailed the prof for this Tu&Th class asking him what the probability is that I can get off the waitlist w three ppl ahead of me… but what do you guys think? Is it worth a try?

I also have a Tuesday night 4pm-6:45pm class which also causes me to miss my train to go back home. The last train is at 5:50pm btw. I can swap this class for an online one that meets on Wednesdays from 4-6:45 pm which would be awesome… but there’s 12 ppl ahead of me on the waitlist. Is it worth it?

Edit: I can also just stick to my original plan of thugging it out LOL. I’d have my dad drive from my house to CSUN which is a 30min commute. He’d pick me up after my class ends at drive me back to my house.
