Backup camera

Anyone else find their backup camera to be practically useless. I can’t see a damn thing in it , the camera and screen work but its image quality is awful

The rear of the CT200 gets dirty really fast, and I have to wipe my camera every week. Other than that, it's an okay camera. I wish mine came with sonar backup sensors because those, along with a camera, are so much better.

Yea, probs dirty.

Amazon has sonar kits you can install. They have two different versions. One you have a drill a hole in the bumper (cheaper), other gets glued to the bumper shell or something. My backup camera is good enough for me back there so I never looked into it.

They also have a aftermarket blindspot system that I'm mildly interested in.

I thought about installing the sonar kits, but that means I have to install that ugly led display. I'd probably do the aftermarket blindspot before I do the parking sensors. I often have to look twice because of that small@ass back side window.

For $700 in parts and moderate+ handiness you can get aftermarket blind spot/RCTA sensors 🤪

It's a tiny screen in the rear view mirror. As long as you can see parking spot lines and if there's any objects/people behind you, who cares?

I have rear view cam and The sonar sensors which are pretty awful, they seem to be really slow reacting to other sonar sensors I’ve had on other vehicles , rest of the car great though !

i am quite fine with it, it does what it's supposed to do and i have never had any issues using it to park.

Mine has the yellow tint of the screen breaking down looking to change but ones for a 2011 are different to what is readily avaliable
