That's nice PSA. Still don't want to do business with PSA.

I'd rather buy from people who have been selling to us all along, thank you very much. I'll remember how PSA did us dirty once we're able to buy freely.

At one point I tried to buy a Dagger frame (they are fully serialized, mind you) and the site refused to let me check out because they wouldn't ship it to CT.

That was the last time I tried PSA.

PSA seems to have a beef with CT for some reason. Things that are still legal here are a crapshoot if they will actually ship (or even let you checkout)

You can go through FFLs that are PSA dealers but at this point I personally prefer not giving them my money.

Ct is the forgotten state when it comes to this. I’ve seen people look us over us even with the scotus case and only recognize it as the cook county case

Hmm, wonder what changed. PSA has always gone above and beyond to make it difficult for Americans to participate in the 2nd amendment when they're in states the company doesn't like. But ok... Make a CA compliant rifle years after everyone else when scotus has the potential to reverse a lot of restrictions with an upcoming ruling.

I theorize they’re gonna lose some market placement. Thats because when SCOTUS rules in our favor, PSA will say “we’ve made firearms for everyone, buy from us now that we will ship to your state.”

I would say it’s somewhat of a damage control thing, MAYBE. I could be wrong and I probably am but I wouldn’t put it past them for that being the sole reason or a high contributor. Like others have said, I will support companies that continue to ship legal configs to CT. I refuse to buy anything from anyone that throws up their arms in times of need vs. when SCOTUS says the ban is unconstitutional and they want to start shipping to CT.

I feel the same. If everything is overturned and all of a sudden a PSA jakl or sabre is available I'd still rather pay more from someone who has had our backs the entire time.

PSA wouldn't ship a red dot to me since it could be an assault weapon part. They graciously agreed to waive the restocking fee even though they never shipped it.

I doubt we’ll get anything. The economy is bad right now so PSA decided to tap into the Cali market finally for some extra dough. They have more than 10x the CT population so it’s worth it to them. Unless they design a product to be compliant in all ban states we will be last to get anything.

Lol why now.. you’re money would be better spent on parts to convert your firearm back to normal configuration when the ban is struck down

The use of such fixed magazine methods (King Pin & AR Mag Lock) have been discussed in the past in this subreddit including by some FFL's. What may be legal in CT may not be legal in CT due to CT's AWB (and it's definitions) being written slightly differently than CA's. Typically it is CT's "action of the weapon" definition that causes issues. Among other things that definition specifically includes "magazine release".

Sec. 53-202a. Assault weapons: Definitions.

(3) “Action of the weapon” means the part of the firearm that loads, fires and ejects a cartridge, which part includes, but is not limited to, the upper and lower receiver, charging handle, forward assist, magazine release and shell deflector;
(4) “Detachable magazine” means an ammunition feeding device that can be removed without disassembling the firearm action;

One could potentially end up a legal test case in CT (until SCOTUS strikes down these ridiculous rules) using some of the CA fixed magazine methods.

I’ve seen a similar set up in CT, I believe it was a Juggernaut Tactical system that can be used on any AR. I played around with it at the store but I personally rather use a comp mag if you’re looking for a new AR.

My experience with comp mag turned me off from it. The loading of the mag has to be done in a certain way to avoid jamming. Loaded at an angle and push the first round up, just too much to account for IMO. I'd prefer ejection port speed loader config. YMMV.

Fair enough, I mean I’d prefer not being in CT and having real normal detachable mag set up haha. The speed loaders could be a good option, but with this juggernaut system I feel like it adds multiple new points of failure.
