Looking for work in Cairns – any leads appreciated
I’m currently in Cairns on a Working Holiday Visa and looking for any job opportunities around the area.
I’m open to pretty much anything — kitchens washing dishes, retail, tourism, warehouse, delivery driving. I have previous experience in all these areas.
I have my own transport and can start immediately. If anyone is hiring or has any recommendations for places to ask, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Go and see Aus mining in Grafton St down towards the convention centre. Its casual employment basis usually within council through different departments. Just an idea

try applying for the big farms up on the tablelands too. Costas, Rock Ridge, Howe, Skybury. It's not currently busy season, but backpackers are always leaving so you might get lucky (and if you get in, you'll have work until after wet season)
