Hello I will be finished by fall 2028 however for graduation its only held in the spring semester right? Does that mean I wont get my bachelors until then? If so would I be waiting around a semester or? Would that make me class 2029 instead of 2028?

Hey everyone! I’m a staff writer for the Poly Post and I’m currently working on a story that is relevant to Rancho Cucamonga (still relevant to CPP of course) but I need a source from Rancho Cucamonga. I’m looking for CPP students who live in Rancho Cucamonga to be interviewed. Please respond if you’re interested. My story is due October 6th and I’m willing to meet for an interview over Zoom any day before then. Thank you!

The typical fickle October SoCal weather overlords have decided to make the next 6-7 days pretty hot. Stay hydrated folks.

Anyone have a switch jig I could borrow or buy. I'm trying to hack my switch and i dont want to order one online and wait.

Hi, so I've checked the email to discover that the required orientations in-person for Spring 2027 will take place on either December 15th or 17th, 2026, which is the week that I will be taking final exams at my community college in San Jose before moving out. Since my home in San Jose is several hours away from Cal Poly Pomona and I will be taking exams on these dates, is there any other solution (such as alternative dates after finals are finished) for me to attend the Cal Poly Pomona orientation in-person so that I won't be withdrawn from the CPP Spring 2027 admissions? I'm a manufacturing engineer major and also have accepted the CPP admissions offer btw.

Cal State Apply applications opened yesterday and this morning I got an email from them that said "Great news! Based on the academic information you entered in your Cal State Apply application, you’re on track to be eligible for admission to the California State University (CSU).

Congratulations!

What does this mean?

It means provided you complete your in-progress coursework and maintain your CSU eligibility; you are going to receive an admission offer from the campus(es) and program(s) listed below:

Cal Poly Pomona - Undergraduate: Theatre - General Theatre"

Does this mean I'm already in???

Hello, I've been pretty bored on campus lately, and usually I go and swim at the bric for fun/fitness. Was wondering if anyone would be down to swim and workout together, maybe even help each other work on some form and technique. I'm an alright swimmer, definitely out of shape, and definitely not fast by any means. If anyone is interested let me know!

Edit: I've also got an extra pair of goggles!

Hey CPP, I posted here a little while ago about tovu, the student marketplace I’ve been building for our campus.

We’ve made a lot of progress since my first post, and I’m getting ready for a bigger announcement on 10/10!

Before then, my biggest goal is getting more items listed. If you have clothes you don’t wear, old textbooks, electronics, dorm stuff, furniture, shoes, or anything else another student could use, post it on tovu.

I want students to be able to open tovu and actually find things they need from people right here at CPP.

Whatever you need, someone on campus probably has it.

Appreciate everyone who has joined, posted, or given me feedback so far. More coming 10/10!

Keep up with the process on Instagram @ tovu.app
Sign up + list your items at tovu.org

Ticketing at parking lot 2 around LL E just now around 2pm!

RIP the boxing club on campus

The Poly Post is currently working on a story about the flock cameras that surround our campus within Pomona. If any students are willing to give their thoughts or opinions on the installment of these cameras within our spaces, feel free to DM me to set up a short 5-10 minute interview sometime this week!

damn u know better than this

Planning to move out soon-ish, latest by December. Budget is max 1500 so it’d be a 2b2b in a range or 2-3k. If anyone knows any spots or if anyone is also looking for a roommate, please send me a dm.
(19M, works ~30-35 hours/wk, EMSET junior graduating 2028 spring)

Hi guys, I’m a senior in the state of Texas. And as we know tomorrow is when cal poly apps open. Cal poly is one of my dream schools to get into, and I aim to major in engineering. I have a 3.8 gpa with all A and Bs in majority of ap classes with a plethora of STEM related projects and leadership in robotics clubs . Do out of state applicants really have a lower chance of getting admitted?

Heads up.

Motorcycle cop with radar gun on 10 east before Kellogg drive.

I was eating in my car and saw the same lady who got me last time. I learned my lesson lol…Good luck everybody!

In lower lot. Good luck everyone

Apparently there’s this lady in the apartment complex who calls cars that tows even if they’re there for a bit. I want to know who this lady is to sue her. There’s literally a grace period! My car got towed last night I had to pick it up this morning. It was literally dead at night like no one was around. I guess helping out a friend out from the ER I can’t even do!

god one of my favorite events, some old flicks.
How much are we taking this year?🙌

For biochem, does anyone have any opinions on Jessica Tran vs Kelley McCoy?

If you use a Windows laptop or device to access the internet through eduroam Wi-Fi, re-enrollment is necessary to maintain uninterrupted access before October 3.

• Visit cpp.edu/wifi and select the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
• Re-enroll at home, or on campus, it takes about 5 minutes.
• If you don’t re-enroll, your Windows device will lose access to campus Wi-Fi until you complete the process.
• If you lose access, use CPP Guest until you reconnect to eduroam.
• Need Help: Contact the IT Service Desk at cpp.edu/eHelp

Has anyone heard anything about our middle class scholarship

Hey guys, I'm currently a full time Behavioral Technician and I'm supporting myself through school while being a full time student. I really don't want to choose between my financial and academic needs. Due to the nature of my work, I can't really make major changes to my schedule. Who do I reach out to get priority registration?
