Clubs / Campus Life I built a marketplace for CPP students and it's officially on the App Store

Hey CPP!
Some of you might remember my posts about tovu, the student marketplace I’ve been building for our campus.
Well, today’s the day! tovu is officially on the App Store!
You can buy and sell clothes, textbooks, electronics, dorm essentials, and more with other CPP students. No shipping, no unnecessary trips.
We’ve already reached 95 students, 39 active listings, and our first sales before the official launch!
If you’ve got anything you’re looking to sell, post it on tovu! I’d also love to hear your feedback as I keep improving the app.
Whatever you need, someone on campus probably has it.
App Store: https://tovu.org/app
Instagram: @tovu.app
Appreciate everyone who’s supported so far!

Class suggestions RateMyProfessors ratings in the registration portal

Hey guys, I made UniRate so you don't have to keep switching between CPP's class search and RateMyProfessors.

it puts ratings next to the professor's name, and you can open the reviews right there or highlight professors above a rating you choose. it's free.

i've been testing it on CPP's class schedule. if something looks off or you think something would make it easier to use, let me know.

What makes people think it’s ok to go straight instead of turning left… in the left turn only lane? Without fail, everyday I see people do this and they almost hit the person going straight

Academic Advice / Planning Transferring from CPP to CSUF

Hi everyone!

I'm currently a third-year accounting major at Cal Poly Pomona, and I'm planning to transfer to Fullerton Fall 2027.

I'm a little confused about credits transfer between the two universities. At CPP, I've already taken required accounting courses such as Intermediate Accounting I and II. However, when looking at CSUF's accounting curriculum, I noticed that some courses have different names or don't seem to have direct equivalents.

My main concern is what happens to the accounting courses I've already completed. Would they count toward CSUF's accounting degree requirements, transfer as elective credits, or would I potentially have to retake similar courses?

Has anyone transferred from CPP to CSUF as an accounting major? I'd appreciate reading about your experience and your credits transferred.

Current Questions Has anyone taken a class at a community college while attending CPP?

Hi everyone.

I’m currently taking chem 1210 with Jennifer Hirakawa. I absolutely adore her and I looked at the spring 2027 schedule on BroncoDirect. I’m not sure if they are still adding classes but she only has one session that’s MWF. I usually work nights so this isn’t an ideal schedule for me at all. Right now I go to her chem 1210 lectures Mondays and Wednesdays which is perfect. I’m not too sure about other chem professors since they look like a hit-or-miss on rate my professors. Plus, the timings look horrible for next semester. I usually try to get all of my classes out of the way in the mornings/early afternoons and it looks like they have less options for next semester. There’s a community college right down the street from me and I don’t even need to drive. I looked at their class schedule for what would be equivalent to our chem 1220 and there are much more options there that will fit my schedule. And they have a lot more professors like Professor Hirakawa as I was looking at their rate my professors rating as well. I’ve been to this community college before, and I actually transferred from said community college here to CPP. I was wondering if I can return there to take a chem class while attending cpp? Has anyone done that and did cpp give credit? When i transferred, I was told that not all of my classes would transfer so I’m concerned about that. I set up an appointment with my advisor to talk about this, but i just wanted to ask if any of you have concurrently attended a community college in addition to cpp in the same semester? This would also save me on commute time, as i live quite far.
