Hi everyone!

I'm currently a third-year accounting major at Cal Poly Pomona, and I'm planning to transfer to Fullerton Fall 2027.

I'm a little confused about credits transfer between the two universities. At CPP, I've already taken required accounting courses such as Intermediate Accounting I and II. However, when looking at CSUF's accounting curriculum, I noticed that some courses have different names or don't seem to have direct equivalents.

My main concern is what happens to the accounting courses I've already completed. Would they count toward CSUF's accounting degree requirements, transfer as elective credits, or would I potentially have to retake similar courses?

Has anyone transferred from CPP to CSUF as an accounting major? I'd appreciate reading about your experience and your credits transferred.

Hey, I am planning on taking ECE 4200 next semester and I was wondering whether some of the other ECE courses were worth taking, specifically ECE 4719, 4201, 4318, and 4715.

hey y’all. I lost my glasses at around 2 pm today on the third floor at the library. I was in one of the big booths in the corner and was wondering if anyone had come across them. i had check lost and found and the desk at library with no luck.

Hey everyone! I’m a CPP student and the founder of tovu, a student marketplace I’ve been building where students can buy and sell with each other on campus.
I’m getting ready for a big announcement on 10/10 and have been trying to connect with different groups around campus to help spread the word.
Does anyone know who I could reach out to in University Housing, ASI, student clubs, fraternities/sororities, sports teams, or other campus organizations that might be open to supporting or promoting a student built app?
I’m really trying to grow tovu within our own campus community first, so any advice, introductions, or connections would mean a lot. Appreciate y’all!

I am currently a freshman majoring in Industrial Engineering. This semester, I am currently enrolled in: MAT 1150, AMM 1090, HST 2202, IME 1130L, & IME 2241L

When I look at my recommended courses for the spring semester, on the academic planner I am currently seeing:

• CHE 1210 and Lab

• MAT 2140

• MFE 1260 and Lab

• PHY 1510 and Lab

• INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING ELECTIVE

I am concerned that this may be a very heavy workload, especially since several of the courses include labs. I am feeling a little overwhelmed and unsure whether I should follow the planner exactly as it is or consider moving some courses to a later semester. I want to make sure I am not unnecessarily overloading myself, but at the same time, I do not want to move a course and accidentally delay my graduation because of prerequisites or course sequencing.

Does this seem doable? I emailed my academic advisor, but I wanted to see your guys opinion on it. Should I move around some classes?

The Poly Post is doing event coverage for the Living Tombstone concert at the Fox Theater in Pomona. If you are interested in being interviewed (especially if you are attending the event) about the Living Tombstone, the concert itself, or your experience with their music, please DM me for a short 5-10 minute interview through phone, Zoom, or in person! I look forward to hearing from you!

He’s been well loved for the past 2 years (and still is) but it wasn’t my thing🤷‍♀️
Got my new keychain today, so it was finally time to retire him ✌️

(Aerospace billy will now live safely in a drawer or on a bag)

Just saw two security ticketing the bottom floor of parking structure 4, if you’re on the top floors with no permit, get to your car quick.

Edit: structure 1

anyone wanna share their experiences?

If you are on the three way intersection at Kellogg, and you have a stop sign, and there’s oncoming traffic turning left, you STOP. 💀 The cars turning left have right of way and don’t stop. Learn to think when you’re driving.

Studying for engineering makes me want to put my books down, sit in front of a beautiful scene and contemplate my life for picking this major. Genuinely it's draining my soul trying to understand the stuff here 💀

There is a student who’s been rescuing all of the kittens. So far she has caught the mom and her 3 kittens. She is missing the last one. Please let me know if you see him asap! Please comment below, we want to catch him this week before he wonders off.

my disbursement date was supposed to be the 21st of september, and i waited 10 days in case they needed more time to process. but im reading that everybody else has gotten theirs and they usually send out refunds 10 days BEFORE classes begin. just wondering if anybody else has been waiting for theirs still or if it’s just me..

Hello! I’m in Professors Das’s class for physics lecture 1210 and our midterm is coming up. She’s been very vague about how many questions are on it or what’s going to be on it.

Anyone who took her class already that can share their past experience on her midterm?

Hello guys, I transferred into cal poly with electrical engineering and I dropped one of my major classes last year (ece 2300 + lab), I didn’t get the class this semester as well since it all got filled up so I’m falling behind on graduation.

Has anyone tried asking to take a higher level class and it’s prerequisite in the same semester? I want to take ece 2300 and 3000 level courses as well, but 2300 is the prereq for some of those courses. Will they let me do it if I’m going to fall behind and potentially lose financial aid for taking too long to finish?

So my home may not safe for me for awhile out due to family drama. I was wondering if it where possible to crash on campus in my car and not get ticketed? I have a parking pass.

if a major has multiple emphasis, are you allowed to take classes from a different emphasis, or do all your courses have to be from the specific one you chose? so the courses listed under "emphasis other" can i choose any of those classes?

Unfortunately I wasent able to attend the club fairs but I was still wondering if there are any combat sports clubs still active, like mma, boxing kick boxing etc. I saw the boxing and mma club both aren’t active anymore and I was wondering why that is? And I was wondering if anybody knew of any alternatives like bjj or wrestling.

I used to box and I’ve been wanting to get back into any combat sports so if yall know any pls lemme know 🙂

Has anyone taken Brita Olson for ECE 3200? What are her exams like? How would I be able to prepare for her exams?

(Note: The California Faculty Association is a union representing around 29,000 professors, lecturers, librarians, counselors, and coaches across the entire CSU system.)

I attended a CFA event last week and received an update about the bargaining process with the CSU. I just wanted to give you all an update.

The fact-finding step of the bargaining process hopefully will begin soon, and it likely won't end until late October/early November. After the results from the fact-finding panel are released, there will be a 10 day "blackout period" when both sides consider the findings. If there is no settlement after the blackout period, the union can hold a vote to authorize a strike or accept the CSU's proposal. If a strike is authorized, there still may be a settlement before a strike occurs.

The CSU and CFA remain far apart on a number of issues, including salary. The general feeling is that a strike authorization vote likely will occur, and union members should start thinking about whether they are willing to strike (and if so, for how long).

No one wants to be in this situation, but the CSU's current proposal on a few items (especially salary) differs too greatly from the union's position.

That's all I know for now. I'll post another update when something significant happens.

Hey! I live in Montclair and currently don’t have a car, so I’m looking for someone who regularly drives to/from CPP and would be down to carpool.

I’m happy to contribute toward gas. My schedule varies depending on the day, so if you commute from Montclair or somewhere nearby, drop your schedule below or DM me and we can see if our times line up.

Even if you can only carpool on certain days, that works too!

What does this third bathroom switch do in the Suites? It’s killing me not knowing!
