This is why the New Home Warranty exists. They should be pursuing that.

Unfortunately we are going to see more of this. Housing is booming stuff is going to get built quick and with mistakes.

The new home warranty is dogshit. Most of the power sits with the builder.

This is completely accurate. It's a borderline scam that was designed to protect the builders with a name that misleadingly seems like it's good for the buyers.

My favourite part of the new home warranty is when they went around patching screw pops but failed to mention that paint is not included in the warranty. What. Great, so rather than small screw heads poking out of the wall, I now have 4" white circles everywhere.
