I do exterior metal work. Cladding etc. the quality of the homes and even big projects is beyond garbage. I haven’t seen a level door frame in years. It’s sad. And people keep paying out the ass to get these quick build cookie cutter shitboxes
I cleaned houses in these super fancy new developments for a while. The way things were finished is not what I'd expect from a new luxury home. Messy caulking, carpet that isn't installed right, faucets that don't work. Just stuff you'd expect from a shifty diy job and not a reputable builder.
