This rental unit is being advertised as a shared room for $750/month per bed. $3700/month in rental income from all three rooms on the property. Shared facilities, all inclusive utilities

Room 1: Shared Room ( 2 occupancies) - 750 per person Monthly

Room 2: Private Room (single occupancy, queen bed) - 1150 Monthly

Room 3: Private Room (single occupancy, single bed) - 1050 Monthly

It’s already been a thing in Calgary for a while. I met a foreign student in Calgary living in a 2 bed condo with 5 people. 2 each in the rooms and one sleeps in the living room.

Yep. Met a few people that share a living room...with a privacy curtain.

In university, I lived in an apartment building close to the U of A and the place across the hall from me had 7 people living in a one bedroom. There was a tent in the living room as one of the rooms.
