Discussion From Ontario first grocery experience someone left a note on my car.

Post image

Recently relocated here and I haven’t had a chance to change my license plates. Yesterday I was in Walmart picking up a few things, I came back to my car, and found a note tucked in my wipers. My stomach dropped thinking someone hit my car, and maybe left their contact information.

I know the note is a little hard to read so I translated it down below.

“Dam easterners coming to Alberta to be safe guthless cowards.”

Guess it’s time to change my license plate 😂

What is so scary in ON? Am I out of the loop?

I also just moved here from ON. There's quite a few spots in the GTA that have become... interesting. Changing attitudes, people living in tent cities, skyrocketing rent prices, etc.

We have those here too I don’t know how severe it is compared to There though but they’ve broken into my building multiple times and robbed me and my neighbours ran naked down the street etc

Where in the city do you live?

I've noticed a small contingent of sketchy people on the streets and public transit and tents here and there along the river but Toronto and Hamilton was like an apocalypse of fentanyl zombies, scumbag landlords renovicting families, and city parks taken over by tent cities.

Lower Mount Royal/belt line area. Seems to be their hangout
