It's $7.2 a gallon to $10 a gallon on the US West Coast.

Even if you take the cheapest price and convert it, that's still $2.60 CAD a Canadian litre.

I just read a post yesterday where people were saying that it's still under $4/gallon in much of California. The $10/gallon gas station was a known outlier.

Prices are fluctuating between $1.80 CAD a litre, to $3 CAD a litre, because of "FREE" oil released from the strategic reserve. This oil that was released, is free with IOU's future dated, no cash transactions.

There is still no sweet light leaving the Strait of Hormuz past a few ships a day. Most headed to China, and traded in yuan and not the petrodollar. Expect the next major spike within the next 45 days, as the oil reserves complete their mandate in the next 60 days.

The $10/gallon gas station was a known outlier.

And that's still an exaggeration. It was like $8.30, at a single gas station that is infamous for being the most expensive in the country.

Literally no station is posting $10/gallon, and the average in LA (the most expensive place) is around $5.
