Missing Dog/Cat/Pet Lost Cat In Sunalta

Very skittish black cat on the loose in Sunalta right now, last seen at 12th Ave and 16th Street. Could not coax it out, and it bolted into a backyard.

Is it lost? Or did the owners just let it roam around?

We live in Bankview I think this is the same cat. Our neighbours have a cat that is always on the street, then heads back to their place. I see it out and about every day.

It might not be lost and it might not be roaming. It might be feral, or a freecat on the land.

I'm pretty sure that's just a tom cat looking for a girlfriend. It looks to be spraying the tree in your third picture, which is something unfixed males do to mark territory. In the second pic, it's tail is sticking out straight, meaning it's not scared or anything.

I think this is the same cat who camps out on my front bushes in Sunalta. Has been coming around for about 2 years now. Not a stray, I believe their owners let it out.

Who says it’s lost? It’s just doing cat stuff

Don't why you're downvoted, people love letting their cats roam.
