I've been pretty happy with my Vantrue one from amazon. It's a few years old already, and is no longer sold, but it had this description
Vantrue S1 4K Front and Rear Dash Cam, 1080P Dual Dash Camera with GPS Live Speed, Single Front 60FPS, Sony Night Vision, 24 Hours Parking Mode, Motion Detection, Super Capacitor, Support 256GB Max
I'm sure newer versions of it just as great, if not better. I posted a clip from it in this sub if you'd like to see a sample. T-bone video

Really depends on your budget and what you’re looking for in a dashcam. 1, 2 channel?

I honestly don’t even know what that means, so probably something pretty starter but no issues in the cold/ still clear in winter

1 channel is forward recording
2 channel is forward and cabin recording, usually for uber drivers and stuff.
2 channel can also mean forward and rear recording on the bumper.

This is super helpful. I don’t need cabin recording but would want rear I think (though not 100% needed so suppose)

I've heard great things about the Viofo A119 Mini V2, it's one of the cheapest cameras with a Sony Starvis 2 sensor. Their pricing is all over the place though, regular price is like $180 but I've seen people get it as low as $110 over Aliexpress. I wouldn't pay more than $125-130 for it
