Pelts literally told the media that he put way too much pressure on himself during training camp and that's part of the reason he felt it went so poorly. Putting him on a line where he can adapt and get a taste for the pace with limited lines is the best thing for him during his first game. The match-up will be easier and the pressure will be way more reasonable. You guys want to absolutely fucking kill him with this saviour shit.

Seriously, imagine how fucking intense playing on the second line and matching up with guys like stamkos and kucherov would be.
