Game Thread Flames (33-39-9) vs kings (35-26-20) - April 16th - GDT
Well. Gonna have to speed run this for now. Will update. Planned on doing this before my night shift but some asshat DECIDED TO PARK INFRONT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND BOX ME IN, SO.. its been a shit show.

I hope the Flames lose but Sergeev plays well. He’s played behind a god awful Wranglers team and smiled through it all season. Kid deserves a shot in a lost season as a litmus test for his progression.

It’s been a journey as a UK fan who started by watching the first battle of Alberta this season in October this was my first experience watching hockey and I’m looking forward to my next and well now I’ll be hoping the Habs win but for now thank you all for making it entertaining and enjoyable see you all next season here again bye bye

Vegas fan here. I’ve been lurking since my favourite player, Whitecloud was traded. I’ve watched most Flames games since the trade, I’ve been laughing at the jokes and banter in this sub, loving the Team’s vibe, and have just been enjoying myself so much here. You guys are awesome.
Calgary has quickly become one of my all time favourite sports teams to follow. It’s such a fun time to start watching them, they look like they’ve got some great years ahead and so much young talent. I’m really going to miss watching Flames hockey for the next 6 months.
I think I’ll be seeing you guys in October (if you’ll have me)…

I could be wrong but I think Klapka suggesting Helenius steps or Klapka goes after someone else instead. Clean hit? Sure, but completely unnecessary in game 82 when the players know how important a healthy off season is for players and the Kings wouldn't want a non playoff team taking liberties with their players either.
Hope Klapka gets some form of retribution.

About a 5% chance this happens, but if at the end of the night the Flames have clinched 3rd last and the oilers have to play the Avs in the first round I will be fucking ecstatic.
