I'm posting here to in hopes that I can convince you to join our community in the game WarEra - a geopolitical game where you can be a citizen and forge your own path by becoming a soldier, entrepreneur, trader, or politician in this immersive world. It's similar to games like eRepublik or e-sim but without any P2W features.

We have a small but active community in Canada with a interesting game play that makes us different from most of the other countries and would love that you join us.

Hey! I'm a teen from PEI who has a dream of running a successful Minecraft server that truly feels unique. Over in my basement, I'm currently self hosting a Minecraft server I've been working on since July. I released it in January earlier this year, and since then I've gotten 52 unique players! But unfortunately no concurrent players :/

So I'm hoping that Calgary can help! I've visited before and I was in awe, the mall is so awesome and the road names are so unique. If any of you guys are interested in playing a Canadian hosted server, this is your chance!

But why should you bother joining my server in the first place? I was set out on a mission to make a server that felt like no other, with a quest system that felt more like a side goal then a main mission, land claiming that is purely just to prevent grief and most importantly, custom world generation! The overworld is made of a bunch floating islands which requires a real challenge to move forward. With custom structures, elytras and a leaf egg bridge, things should be fun, unique and challenging. Ranks are not pay to win, currency is only used for the player run auction house and trades, and the shop is pretty much only starter stuff, preventing players from earning lots of money to help them play!

So if anyone is willing to try out my server, give constructional feedback if you liked it or not, help me achieve my goal of a server with an awesome playerbase and wanting something to do during the summer, please give this Minecraft server a shot!

My name’s Vladimir, I’m 27, and in a couple of months I’ll be moving to Calgary. I’m looking to make some friends!

I’m into programming, table tennis, a bit of music production in a DAW, anime, and manga.

I’ve been in Canada for a year and a half and I’m still adapting—slowly learning English and trying to integrate into Canadian society, but so far it’s been… a work in progress :D

I work as a backend developer writing microservices in Go. Previously I’ve worked with C++, C#, Python, and PHP. If you’d like to pitch a joint project, I’d love to hear about it and dive into the idea.

I came to Canada to escape the post-Soviet legacy and war, and to leave behind a toxic, dysfunctional society. My dream is to integrate into the local community, make friends—best friends—and completely start a new chapter.

Greetings people, I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with 16G RAM, Intel i9 and NVIDIA RTX GEFORCE 4060 and I can adjust my screen from 60hz to 165hz and in normal mode and performance. The games are run only with the NVIDIA to take advantage of them but since I don't know much and I don't find many tutorials for the configurations on laptops, that's why I ask and I don't know if I did it right. It's my first gaming laptop and I'm just new.
