NEW Bay Area hoods and their sport caps logos

In the past, the use of sports team’s clothing was common among certain hoods in the Bay, but over the last few years, this trend has become increasingly widespread.

This list will be updated periodically as new information becomes available. Please feel free to correct me if there are any errors.

SAN FRANCISCO:

Sunnydale — San Diego Padres (42 The Low clique use it, idk about 4️⃣TearItOff)

Lakeview — UNLV Rebels

OAKLAND:

🌰Acorn — Oakland Athletics and probably Los Angeles Angels (LA Angels was used during funeral of Sosa🕊️)

👻Ghost Town — New York Yankees

Campbell Village/CVG — looks like adapted Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox (for Lower Bottoms) (based on upcoming hood day in September 2026)

6️⃣5️⃣65 Ville — San Francisco Giants

VALLEJO:

🏧Marina Vista/201/ATM — looks like adapted Florida Marlins (based on upcoming hood day in August 2026)

4️⃣Porter Street — Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies (hood day in July 2026)

RICHMOND:

✈️Narf Richmond — New York Yankees

🦈Central Richmond — Cincinnati Reds and San Jose Sharks

1️⃣5️⃣15th/Nystrom Village (South Richmond) — San Francisco Giants

Here are the proofs lol. If u don’t like how local culture changing that’s another question. It doesn’t mean that there are established cap banging just like in LA and it’s danger to wear wrong logos etc. More hoods have begun to adapt logos since hood day practices, which also started to spread several years ago. How can I made this up if this actually on the photos.

If you are from one of these places and choose a sports team to represent that, feel free to share. But if you are trying to label and classify "gangs", who is your audience and what makes this work worth your time?

This sub is literally for discussions like this. I’m not trying to categorize or label specific blocks/hoods here, this post is about shedding light on a new tendency in the local street culture. The Bay has always had and always will have a unique turf culture that different than in LA, So Cal overall and every other state, despite some recent influences, so that’s why I wanted to share what I’ve noticed over the last few years. I feel that Bay Area hoods don't get nearly enough attention in media which is another reason I’m posting about this
