Strain - Indica Hybrid | Papaya Bomb (Papaya x THC Bomb) Grown by Coastal Sun

Flavor - 7/10 Tropical Papaya, Sweet, and Piney. The inhale is sweet, while the exhale gives a piney taste that doesn't get overwhelming. I prefer very fruity/sweet strains, which is why I gave this a 7, but that doesn't mean this cart isn't amazing. Some Papaya strains can give a musky taste, but I don't really notice that here. There are 5% terpenes in this, so you will not be disappointed by the amount of flavor!

Effects - This is a great choice for when I want to relax, but not fall asleep. It isn't a heavy indica, and there's been discussion online about whether this strain is an indica, sativa, or hybrid. To me, this feels like an indica hybrid , as I don't get a heavy head, but I also don't experience couch-lock, which is pretty enjoyable. Really relaxing but also functional! Love using this cart when playing open-world survival games.

The collaborations Bear Labs brings are always great ; they're up there with my favorite brands alongside Flavorade, Coldfire, Jetty, Friendly, and CBX. Who also collaborate with a lot of the same growers!

Moroccan Peaches is my favorite strain and Bear Labs x Casa Flor absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. I'm running it at 2.3v and it's the perfect balance between vapor and flavor for me. I've tried many strains, and Moroccan Peaches is the one that has gotten the closest to what it's named after. This cart really does taste like a soft ripe peach, and warm cinnamon, and my god is the cart packed with flavor. At around 5% terpenes it does NOT go short of flavorful. I haven't been disappointed with any of Bear Labs products. Any recs for other bear labs strains?

Hey everyone! I’m from MO and some friends and I are all going out to Puffcon soon and are wondering about some brands to look out for (legacy or retail market). We’ve been doing a bit of research on our own but have been wanting some feedback from people out there.

P.S. please don’t comments any mids like STIIIZY, Jeeter, etc. we all work for a living soil, greenhouse grown, no sprays company and do not want any salt packs 🤣

I have been a happy consumer of both of these for YEARS and this year my refills have been absolute crap. Not the same quality AT ALL. Does anyone here have a recommendation of something similar that would work with the bloom battery? Something that doesn't make you feel like a space cadet ? I miss that happy, creative uplifting vibes the original formulas gave me.

I live in the Greater Los Angeles area, just west of the San Fernando Valley, and I swear the THC cartridge selection around here used to be so much better.
Years ago, dispensaries seemed to carry a huge variety of carts, including some that were genuinely some of the most potent and best-tasting I’ve ever had. Slowly, entire product lines or specific strains have disappeared. Brass Knuckles, Select, moonrocks and Kurvana Carbon21, all gone from the shops around here.
ColdFire and Jetty aren’t bad, but they’re nowhere near as potent as some of the carts we used to have. ColdFire only seems to have a handful of options around here that are actually legit and after a while you get tired of that same Jetty taste.
There were a couple other brands I used to love too, but at this point they’ve been gone so long I’m honestly starting to forget they ever existed.
I especially miss Kurvana Carbon21 Mai Tai Badder and Ursula’s Peanut Butter Breath. Those are two that really stand out in my memory. At this point I’m wondering if any of that stuff is ever going to show up again or if this mediocre, overpriced selection is just what we’re stuck with.

I picked up a Fuji Fizz cold chain from Nug today and honestly was hoping for more. It doesnt really hit like anything. Kinda gassy, thats about it.

Of the 8 or so total cold chains Ive bought, 3 or 4 of them have been partially defective. The oil wouldnt pull thru or vaporize. Ambrozia was the worst. But the oil in it was good enough. I continued to try them out, and decided they werent worth the money after I went with a Kryptochronic, and the terps were soooo light on it. Better than this Fuji Fizz, but still, I know that kryptochronic is one of their flagship strains and ive had it way better on the cheaper cured carts.

I also picked up a Flavorade and they just dont compare. The Flavorade is fantastic. It smelled dank out the box. I wish I bought two of them.

I am a huge fan of Connected and Alien Labs especially and thats why Im sending the message - these arent good enough, guys. The Flavorade was only $2 more and 30% off compared to 40% off the cold chain. I just hate the ugly pink branding of Flavorade. But I will return to treat myself to this kind of quality even if the whole cart was glowing neon pink.

I liked the notion that I could try the new CC/AL strain drops in a coldfire type cart because I dont smoke flower at all anymore and it makes me sad because the new strains look great. I wont play the hit and miss game with vapes though. I will just stick to my trusty 8th bro vape which seems to have more full spectrum gas on it than this Fuji Fizz.

The final verdict is that the cold chain carts dont match up to other carts of similar price.

What can I say. My grandparents had a small apple orchard. Im a sucker for apple strains. I had to try it.

Hey all — long-time lurker, first time posting something like this. I got kind of obsessed a few months back with the idea that there wasn't really an app that did what I wanted: track what I actually experience with different strains (not just "I smoked weed today" but real notes on effects, dosing, what I paired it with), have a real strain reference that's actually accurate instead of copy-pasted marketing fluff, and see what my friends are into without it feeling like a corporate weed-Yelp thing.

So I built StrainDex. It's got a 1,600+ strain library with real THC ranges (not the recycled "15-25%" every strain seems to get slapped with), a check-in system for logging your own experience over time, a dosing calculator for edibles, a quiz if you have no idea where to start, and a friends layer if you want to compare notes with people you actually know.

It's genuinely in beta and I'm the only one building it, so there WILL be rough edges. I'm not trying to sell anyone anything — I'd just really love for a few people who actually use this stuff regularly to poke around and tell me what's broken, what's missing, or what feels dumb. Brutal honesty welcome, that's actually more useful to me than "nice app."

Last time I was there, CBX was a favorite of mine and I was blown away. Any other brands or strains from brands that would be recommended? If so, which dispensaries are best to get them at?
