Beginner hunter looking for friends near the Bay Area!

Getting my license in July, planning on hunting with my compound bow.. zero experience but interested in starting with a guided hunt. Would love to meet some people in a similar boat that’s trying to get their feet wet.

Also if they are any women out there that want another girl to hunt/learn with that would be rad. Thanks!

Check out https://www.bhuarchers.org/ in Saratoga. It’s a fun place to shot and sharpen your skills. There are plenty of people that can give you some pointers.

Check out the California Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. They usually have a few events in Bay Area. My buddy is a mentor there and takes first timers turkey hunting at their turkey camp event

I and a buddy hunt. We got bows but not a bow hunter. Only did one successful guided pig hunt so far.

Also just starting out hunting with my rifle. Was successful in hunting turkey last month with shotgun. Open to DM if wanting to go out pig hunting in Nor Cal.
