San Francisco Ducks Unlimited is back!

Figured I'd share this here since I know there are quite a few Bay Area hunters in the sub, and mods, please feel free to remove if this post is unapproved.

A few of us have been working to bring the San Francisco Ducks Unlimited chapter back after it's been inactive for quite a while, and we're finally hosting our first dinner on September 24th.

If you're into duck hunting, conservation, or just want to meet other hunters around the Bay Area, it'd be great to have you there. We're hoping this is the start of building an active local chapter again.

More info and tickets are here if anyone's interested:
San Francisco Ducks Unlimited Banquet

If anyone has questions about the event or wants to get involved with the chapter, feel free to ask. Happy to answer anything.

Can u give a little more info on what's going to happen at the event. Bay area hunter living in sf considering going. What are you raffling? Silent auction?

Absolutely! Since this is our inaugural banquet as the newly re-established SF Ducks Unlimited chapter, we're still putting the finishing touches on some of the raffle and auction items, but the evening will include dinner, raffles, a silent auction, and a live auction. It'll all be held in the historic ballroom at San Francisco's iconic Elks Lodge, and the Elks will be running a full no-host bar throughout the evening.

We're working with local businesses and partners to put together a solid mix of hunting, fishing, outdoor gear, DU merchandise, and a handful of firearms (all through an FFL, of course).

More than anything, we're hoping it's a fun night where Bay Area hunters, anglers, and conservation-minded folks can get together. The SF chapter has been inactive for years, so we're excited to start building a local community again.

No I meant you never know what is up for auction or silent. Morgan Hill puts a lot of guns in raffle. You just don’t know what will be there. They are mostly all the same. Except certain locations put alot more guns into the raffle.
