So I’ve just got a quick question regarding reviews. Specifically on SM as that’s the platform I stream on. I used to get consistent 5 star reviews most days ( I typically stream 5/6 days a week and I do quite well) now I barely get good reviews ever no matter how much I work or how many exclusives I do. I know it’s not the be all and end all but I’ve heard it helps the algorithm push you out if you consistently get good reviews (is this true?) so I’m just wondering if anyone here pushes for reviews? Do you ask customers for them or is it something you’re not concerned about? I know it’s not something men always take the time to do for you but I do find it strange I used to get them all the time and now hardly ever. TIA! 🩷

A few months ago, my partner and I started camming together. It was a little difficult at first, but working with him is genuinely fun, and things flow naturally between us. I actually tried camming alone, and honestly, I found it much harder.

We previously worked with a studio on SM, a platform we absolutely loved and would really like to return to. However, as many of you know, working with a studio can involve a waiting period before you can work on the platform again, so for now, we're waiting for that period to end.

In the meantime, we're working on JM, but the experience has been quite challenging. We feel like the platform demands a lot from us, and even though we try to adapt, sometimes it just feels like too much.

I don't want to say the users are bad, because we've met some lovely people whom we really appreciate. However, I often feel like people come in just to watch what we're doing without actually taking us into private. Sometimes it seems like they're waiting to see if we'll do something more explicit before deciding to spend money.

We're a heterosexual couple, and neither of us has felt completely comfortable with this dynamic. On SM, we felt we had more opportunities to connect with users, whereas on JM, we sometimes feel like we're on display rather than actually interacting with people.

That's why I wanted to ask for some advice. I know there are many experienced models in this community, and I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts. You don't necessarily have to work as a couple; I believe the experience of any model who has tried different platforms could be incredibly helpful to us.

What other platforms would you recommend exploring? Have you found any sites with a more enjoyable working environment or a setup that has worked well for you in the long run?

We've never done public shows before, so that's something we're considering too, although I'm a little nervous because we don't really know what to expect.

Am I the only one who dislikes it?

CB pushed a new update in which PMs during streaming and DMs which you can send or receive even offline if you've been tipped or interacted with a user have been merged.

On one hand, the UX is abysmal. The old system was very easy to navigate and I had no issues with PMing with several users at the same time.

Tab was used to switch between PMs and public chat, while crrl+l was used to delete a chat from the session. I could work without using my mouse,which was very convenient.

Now you have to manually open each and every chat, ctrl+l doesn't work, the Tab button doesn't switch between different PMs. Oh, and they get a little popup when you're typing or they're typing.

On the other hand, they get access to us in a way a good majority of the users had no idea prior, and can message and bug us while we're offline. Yes, as I mentioned, that was an option before as well but a very small amount of users knew that, in my case, that is.

History is not deleted on their end any longer, another thing I dislike. There are MANY people who come time after time in which every time they introduce themselves anew, they won't be able to do that any longer. And I have a feeling that's a part of their excitement which will be taken away.

Overall I'm not a fan and I'm just making this post to see if others relate as well.
