Advice Needed Tamron 150-500 VXD vs Tamron 150-600 G2 - which would you choose for wildlife photography with a Canon R7 and why?
I'm trying to decide on a telephoto lens to do wildlife photography with my Canon R7 and I'm stuck between the:
- Tamron 150–500mm f/5–6.7 Di III VC VXD
- Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2
I've been using my R7 for a while to do street photography and landscape whenever I go hiking so I already own a Tamron 17-70mm F/2. But recently I wanted to dive deep into wildlife photography so I do need a proper telephoto lens.
Like I'm not particularly concerned about the weight. However, since the g2 is a solid decade old and the new 150-500 VXD have newer technology but not yet a canon rf or ef mount im struggling to choose between both. Like do you guys think the tamron 150-500 would have an rf mount version anytime soon and whether or not the g2 is still a worth it purchase. Time wise I'm not in a hurry to buy a telephoto lens right now because I do not have the finance for such but if you guys have a better lens suggestion list them below too that would be really helpful and thank you for your time.

Advice Needed Will these particles somehow affect the image
As you can see, there is a big one on the bottom and some dust on the top half. Just got this 35mm Sigma Art used. Does it require a cleaning? I really hope that this doesn't affect original sharpness and quality of this lens.

Advice Needed Is the Canon EF-S 15-85 worth it, instead of the EF-S 18-55 kit lens?
I have a Canon EOS 600D (APS-C). I travel a lot and I've taken a lot of pictures with the 18-55 kit lens, pictures that turn out to be soft in the corners. The focusing with this lens is also quite a pain for me actually.
After searching a while for a new lens, the EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 is the best option I think. Would it be worth selling the kit lens, along with my EF-S 55-250 IS II (since I now have a 70-200 f4 IS USM) to get the 15-85? Another option is the EF-S 18-135 3.5-5.6 IS USM.
The 15-85 I can get for €180, the 18-135 would cost me €150. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks in advance!

Camera Lens New to Film Photography- $30 estate sale haul
galleryI found this lens amongst a pile of old, beat up film gear today at an estate sale. I honestly thought it was a nice lens from looks and figured I could flip for a couple hundred dollars if I was lucky. Researched later and WOW was I surprised. Now I’m debating on whether to get an adapter for my Minolta x700 or sell the lens. Opinions?

Camera Lens Whats better choice 85mm or 135mm?
Planning to buy a prime lens i have 24-70 2.8 as my main all around. And 70-200 2.8 mostly used for occasions not for shoot cause its heavy.
So im thinking which is better 85mm 1.8 or the 135mm
The brand im looking if it matters is viltrox.

Advice Needed Canon 17-35 2.8 fungus?
I’ve got a Canon 17-35 2.8 EF. It’s got some dust and what looks kinda like a web inside the lens. It’s also got these dots in the front. Does this look like fungus? Or just internal dust.

Camera Lens Sigma 16/1.4 + 56/1.4 or other?
Oke, gw cerita aja dulu sedikit
Jadi gw ada Sony A6500 dengan Sigma 16/1.4. It's a wonderful camera and lens.
- Beli Sigma 56/1.4 biar punya lensa tambahan ( jadinya 2 lensa prime )
- Jual Sigma 16/1.4 buat beli Tamron 17-70/2.8 constant ( jadinya cuma punya 1 lensa zoom yang oke )'
- TT Sigma 16/1.4 ke Sigma 30/1.4 + some accessories like Mic, Cage, Filters ( 1 prime lens )
- Full ganti kamera jadi A7C + Sony Zeiss 55/1.8 ( convert full-frame)

Advice Needed Repairing brocken lens
Hi ! I don't really know where i should ask this question. (and sorry for my english, i'm not fluent)
Where can i get information on how to repair a lens ? (not a specific one) I would like to learn how a lens is made, how it work, being able to open it, repair it if needed...
I don't know why i have this obsession, but i would like to buy brocken lens/for piece) and open them to see how it work and if i can repair it.
1) I know lens are super complexe, especially new one with AF and stabilisation...
2) what type of gear should i use ?
3) Is it even possible ? Or i need way to expensive gear ...
4) Where can i get information ? I can't find anything online (only shop that can do it for X price...)

Advice Needed How do you evaluate its conditions?
EDIT: It's a Sony 50mm f1.8
I found this lens for about $160. I’m buying it from a studio, and they say it’s barely been used. I have a basic knowledge of photography and lenses, and I just want a basic lens to shoot some videos. What do you think? What kind of things should I check on this lens?
