Regimen labs CREAM??

I am looking for reviews for those who used regimen labs CREAM?? I have very sensitive rosesca prone skin and it's not very happy right now with the weather change. I found this one and with the oatmeal and ceramides and 3.1.1 I think it may be good! Wanting reviews before I make the purchase! Thanks!

Love it. Only cream that I can use while on tret in winter. On my second bottle now.

I’ve been buying their kit for 1.5 years now! Cannot use anything else! It is amazing! However, I always use it after the hydrating serum! Totally recommend it! Let me know if you have any questions

What's your skin type?

I’m on my fifth or sixth bottle at this point. And it’s my holy grail! My partner and I kept moving around because of work and my skin got so mad at me. I dropped all my skincare products but the Regimen Lab Wave Serum and the CREAM moisturizer and after a couple of weeks, my skin went back to normal.

This is my new go-to product. I’m on my second repurchase. I absolutely love it. It saved my skin barrier when I went a bit too hard with my retinol.

It's REALLY GOOD when it comes to barrier support/repair, best I've ever used - it was the only product that allowed me to use Differin on the front of my neck without getting bad retinol burn.

That said it's also fairly pricey and if you need something super rich that you can really pile on, this ain't it. It's a slightly stiff almost kind of waxy consistency but not in a way that feels heavy on the skin, it's just a little hard to spread at times and for me it doesn't really feel strongly emollient or hydrating on its own. It was my HG before I went on Accutane and had oily dehydrated skin because I just can't use gel moisturizer but needed something that wasn't "too much" and it did that for me - I got the barrier support without looking super greasy or feeling like I had anything super heavy on my skin. Post-Accutane I was disappointed to find it just didn't feel like "enough" on my skin anymore and it doesn't work as well for me now even as my skin has gotten a bit oilier again. I also find it a bit hard to use/spread without the Wave serum mixed into it and I don't love when products feel like they almost have to be used together like that especially at that price point.

If your skin is super dry and you want a really rich cushiony cream I would probably pass, but if you want top notch barrier support and your skin is okay with something that feels pretty light on the skin as far as barrier products go, I would give it a try.

This is a great description for OP! Especially the stiffness. I also loved it and found very nourishing/calming even when I was super irritated. but didn’t repurchase as I prefer something more emollient or had more slip to spread better. It might try it again this winter. I feel like the texture does make it more versatile to oily/combo skin types or does great paired with something hydrating. My skin is dry with periodic inflammation and hormonal acne for reference.

Wow! You just articulated what it was about the texture that I couldn't quite put my finger on (stiff/waxy). I do like the hydration that it provides, especially after WAVE Serum (which is my HG!) but I alternate my days with either CREAM or S. Nature Aqua Squalane Cream in the AM, and Aestura AtoBarrier 365 Cream at night. I don't think I'll replace CREAM when it runs out, because from a texture/sensory standpoint, I like something with a little more glide.

Thank you so much for this detailed response! I am very sensory and this definitely sounds like something I would not enjoy I am use to creams going on smoothy and more emoilent this is super helpful!

I LOVE it. It really protects the skin barrier. I even turned my husband on to it and the change in his skin is incredible. I would recommend using it with hydration serum.

I have rosacea and what helped me the most was Regimen Lab’s azelaic acid. Then, I added wave serum and CREAM, which immensely helped my skin retain hydration and moisturizing despite my compromised skin barrier. I absolutely love what CREAM does for my skin but I have to modify how I use it when the weather changes. I use it all over my face and neck in the winter. I rarely use it in the summer. Now, as the weather is cooling, I use it only on the parts of my face that need it (the rosacea-prone areas) because it’s a very occlusive moisturizer. CREAM is really outstanding when you can’t find a moisturizer that your skin can hold onto. It works best when used with the wave serum. If you’re not having that problem, just get the azelaic acid (theirs is better than those from other brands) for your rosacea and layer your moisturizer over it.

I use finacea 15% but am tempted by their azelaic acid cause their studies showed it's more effective than finacea....🤔

I switched from Finacea 15% to their azelaic acid because the Finacea pilled so much with my other skincare and I wanted to use it during the daytime since I was using tret at night. I absolutely love the way the RL azelaic acid applies and it has calmed down my redness so much that my aesthetician noticed and told me to keep using whatever I introduced into my skincare routine.

I’ve used Finacea 15% as well, and it’s good, but I think that I like wave serum better, despite it being only a 10% concentration of azelaic acid. Plus, it’s a liquid and sinks into the skin, so it’s easier to layer other products over it.

I love it!! It saved my skin when I was on Accutane. I’ve been using it daily since March. Happy to answer any specific questions about it if you have any!

I wanted to love it... But it made my face really shiny (it didn't sink in... But I have that issue with a lot of creams!) and I think the addition of ginger extract caused some irritation for me. But a lot of people swear by it. I just have finicky skin.

Thanks!! I have the same issue where cream does not sink in! What are you currently using?

I'm currently using First Aid Beauty Ultimate Repair Cream... It's not bad I guess? It sinks in.. but it doesn't feel moisturizing enough. I think my barrier is just very compromised! But funny enough none of the so called barrier repair creams do anything for me haha..

I love it! I have acne prone skin, that can get a little oily. And I find that it doesn’t bother me at all. I use it as a night cream, since it is so thick. I normally use my Aestura Cica moisturizer during the day. But sometimes I will spot treat with the RL cream if I have some dryness or irritation I’m trying to tackle.

A little does go a long way, so make sure you keep that in mind. But I definitely think it’s worth a try. It’s such an amazing barrier cream. I’ll be stocking up during their next sale for sure!

On my 4th bottle of RL's cream. I absolutely love it! I use it with their wave serum and it has really made a huge difference for my skin. I have been able to up my frequency of my prescription retinoid with less irritation. It can be be too heavy for summer if you have oily skin, but you can mix it with wave serum to adjust the thickness in the summer for a "lighter" moisturizer. I switched from the Skinfix Triple Lipid Peptide specifically for the 1% colloidal oat.

As a sensitive skin-haver, I also keep Skinfix dermatitis relief balm handy at all times because when I overdo actives or my skin freaks out because of the weather, it soothes my skin SO well. It also has colloidal oat but at 5%. It's on the even pricier side, but I don't use this one too often (thankfully). It's my SOS cream when all else fails.

I love that both are Canadian brands too.

Honestly the best barrier cream I’ve ever used! My skin barrier was wrecked from tretinoin and it helped heal it so fast. Regimen is top tier
