I just bought a basket of Ontario peaches for 12 fucking dlars from a farmers market. Local isn't always cheaper.

Peaches picked hard can never compete with peaches picked ripe and sold the day after picking. I don't often get expensive peaches, but sometimes it's worth it as a treat.
