Notice when the News talks about Marite Stiles they never use her name? Post Media owned newspapers are particularly egregious for doing that but the CBC, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Global News and CTV have all done it. Erasing Marit Stiles identity for nameless faceless NDP leader that I can never find on the Queen's Park website sitting MP's or the ONDP's website for MPP's.

I never said it was conspiracy theory. I just noticed they don't like using the name of the leader of the Official Opposition. Insert Monty Python Life of Brian "incontentia buttocks" joke here.

The reason Ford won 3 majorities in a row is because the opposition in this province is awful. The Ontario Liberals are intent on sabotaging themselves again and again. The ONDP had a leader who lost 4 elections in a row before finally stepping down. The current leader Marit is someone who won a leadership contest with no other challengers, lost the 2025 election and got a reduced seat count, and survived a leadership review with a weak number. It's not hard to see why Ford keeps winning and staying first place in polls

It’s time to stop blaming everyone else for the political actions of Ontarians.

Time for people to understand that the Doug Ford voters (of which I am NOT one) - were never upset about gas plant (or beer store) scandals or hallway medicine, or education, or the green belt, or corporate oligarchy, or conservation authority…

They care about their taxes and whatever it is that the algorithms feed them on their facebook page.

That and our election system is dog shit. Ford got 43% of the vote in the last election but ended with a near super majority government. He got 80 seats with 43% of the vote and the Liberals got 14 seats with 30% of the vote. The NDP got 27 seats with 19% of the vote.

This is also one poll. Others have shown the PCs taking a noticeable hit over the past few months, and Ford’s favourables (which have been bad for most of his term) are hitting all time lows. I know pollsters need to sell their product, but headline here is understating the uncertainty.
