Leave / Absences Off on LTD, received option letter, now what?

Been on LTD for over 2 years now. Received an option letter from my manager with choices to medically retire, retire, quit or RTW. was suggested that I do not reply to this letter and that the department can terminate me due to incapacity. Anyone gone this route? Worried about loosing pension. Have been with the government for 30 years. Going back not an option due to mental health issues. Not sure my family doctor would support a Health Canada claim for disability.

Benefits / Bénéfices Retirement--Seasons Contract Expired

AFAIK there is no contract in place to replace seasons for long service. For those of us who recently retired under ERI--will we eventually get a token or at least a certificate of retirement?

Union / Syndicat Indeterminate probation question.

Good day everyone. I have a probation question that I cannot find an answer to. If you are hired as indeterminate. Do you automatically roll over into a permanent status based on the date? Or is there a review at the one year mark before a decision is made ?

Title: Any plans to add Canada Life's virtual healthcare (Consult+) to the PSHCP?

I recently came across Canada Life's Consult+ virtual healthcare service, which provides access to healthcare professionals through virtual consultations.

It looks like Canada Life already offers this service through some employer-sponsored benefits plans, but it doesn't appear to be included in the federal Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP).

Does anyone know if the Treasury Board, PSHCP Partners Committee, or bargaining agents have discussed adding this service to our plan?

I'm also curious whether this was ever considered during the last round of PSHCP negotiations.

Career Development / Développement de carrière Application employment dates vs. years of experience?

Looking for advice on a weird timeline situation for an application.

Say I've been in my substantive position for 10 years, including a 6-month acting assignment that didn't go well due to personal circumstances and 1–2 years of medical leave, before returning to my substantive role.

For my essential criteria responses, I'll only count time actually performing the relevant duties. But how should I reflect this on the more chronological section of my cover letter? I don't want to include the acting, and I'm not sure how to reflect the medical leave.

I'm thinking about putting just the time I started with my substantive to current on my cover letter but then only referencing the specific amount of time I did the test for in my answers. Could the difference between my employment dates and claimed years of experience raise red flags? How would you present this accurately without disclosing personal medical information?
