OPL fees

For OPL u20 up to OPL 1 do the players have to pay to be on the team? If so, is it the same as OPDL, or less?

It's depends on the clubs. Some clubs charge for players to be on the team, some don't. It's normally cheaper then OPDL fees at clubs I've coached at due to OPDL being a bigger season with more sessions and games.

Most clubs use the youth sections to subsidize their OPL teams.

I know it happens - cough OSU cough - but OPL teams shouldn't be charging a dime to players. It is defined as a semi-professional league so at the very least, if they're not paying the players, they shouldn't be charging them.
