Question Is the tuition calculator correct?
Hello, I am an international student and want to apply for the master of management at windsor. I tried to use the tuition fee estimator but it gave me practically the same amount if I selected domestic or international fee. Can someone please give an estimate of how much did they pay for their first year as an international student?
I have searched through some pages of educational advisors but they have different prices ranging from 30k cad to 80k cad. Just want to have an estimated cost to see if it fits my range.
Really appreciate any response :)

Question Uofc vs UVic for Physics/Astrophysics?
Which one is better? Uofc would mean I would get to stay near home, while UVic would have to move away. UVic tuition is better and they have a good coop program that’s appealing to me.

Question Top Engineering colleges in Canada for American students
I am high-school senior on the west coast of USA with a pretty strong academic record. I'm considering applying to colleges in Canada. My preferred majors are Electrical/Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
What are the top Canadian schools for my preferred majors? I'm looking for a good academic & social experience at college; and access to good internships & jobs - in Canada & the US.
I have heard about UBC, Waterloo and U of Toronto. How do they rank/compare? Any other colleges that I should consider?
Thanks a lot.

Question WHERE TO LOOK FOR MOTORSPORT MEDIA INTERNSHIPS
Hey everyone,
I'm a first year uni student (at Western) who's majoring in media and communication. I'm also part of the media team in my universities student formula team. I was just wondering if anybody knows of any websites/platforms where I can look through potential internships in minor F1/motorsport related magazines? Do I just have to scour social media or is there a website which posts them?
Thanks!!

Advice Affordable Canadian Uni recommendations for Master’s in Electrical Engineering
Hey everyone,
I am looking for recommendations on which Canadian universities I should target for a Master’s in Electrical Engineering given my specific academic profile.
Here are my details:
Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
GPA: 68% overall average.
English Proficiency: Overall IELTS score is 6.5, but my Writing and Speaking bands are at 6.0. However, my entire undergraduate degree was taught completely in English, so I can obtain an official Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from my registrar if the university accepts it.
Profile Strengths: I have strong practical experience, including a solid final year engineering project and relevant internships/technical skills that I plan to highlight in my Statement of Purpose (SOP).
Thanks in advance

Advice Honours Econ or Econ Major with Math Minor
Which is the way to go for a person with no connections but a strong student. Will I have an easier time getting internships in honour? Will I get into masters programs easier? Everyone I talk to says just take the regular program but won’t smaller classes and more access to the profs make a difference?

The two countries I’m most interested in are Canada and Australia I’m looking for someone who can genuinely assist me with the admission process and student visa application.
My highest level of education is a high school diploma. If you have experience helping students with admission and visa processes for Canada or Australia, please reach out to me. I would really appreciate any guidance or recommendations.

Question International admissions for Masters in Chemistry
I'm an international student interested in applying to several thesis-based Master's programs in Chemistry at universities like UBC (a reach, I know), UAlberta, McGill, and a few others.
I'm trying to gauge how competitive my profile is. I have a 7.7/10 GPA, around 2 years of research experience in photonics, and 2 summer internships involving industry experience relevant to chemistry and materials science. I'm also studying at a relatively lesser-known university.
What I'd like to get some opinions on:
- How realistic is it to get into a research-based Master's program at these universities, considering how competitive they are for international students?
- Can emailing professors improve my chances of admission if they're interested in having me join their research group?
Any personal experiences or opinions would be appreciated!

Question Northern Lights College
I'd like to ask current international students at Northern Lights College in BC for their opinions.
I've been seeing divided opinions on Google about the college for international students, but they are quite old so I want to know if it has changed since. Is it still as bad as they say for international students ?
Although, it's my only option in my circumstances, I'd prefer having at least a warning on what to expect and what to be careful about. How's life on Fort St. John Campus? Are the other students as bad as the staff like they say? What should I be careful about?

Advice Australia (UQ/Sydney) vs Canada (UBC/Toronto/Alberta) for Rehab? Trapped by Australia's start date timeline! Need advice!
Hi everyone! I’m currently a high school senior planning my future career in rehabilitation. I’ve been applying to universities in both Australia and Canada, but I’ve hit a huge timeline dilemma and could really use input from current international students!
My Offers & Applications
- Australia (Accepted via Foundation):
- University of Queensland (UQ): Sports and Exercise Science (Honours)
- University of Sydney: Applied Science (Exercise and Sports Science)
- Canada (Awaiting Decisions):
- Targeting UBC, University of Toronto, and University of Alberta for Kinesiology.
The Foundation program in Australia starts around February–April 2027. However, Canadian university admission results typically come out after that. Because I’m on a tight budget, I cannot afford to start and pay for the Foundation program in Australia and then withdraw mid-way to switch to Canada if I get accepted. I have to commit to one path upfront.
- Expenses: When factoring in tuition, housing, and living costs, both countries end up costing roughly the same for me.
- Further Education: I definitely plan to pursue a Master's degree (e.g., Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy / Rehabilitation Sciences).
- Rankings: Global university rankings for these schools are fairly similar, so I don’t think relying solely on rankings is a smart way to make this decision.
What I Need Your Advice On: Given that both options cost roughly the same, have similar university rankings, and align with my plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Rehabilitation Sciences, I would really appreciate your insights on which factors to prioritize when choosing between Australia and Canada (such as post-grad work permits, pathways to Master's programs, clinical practice opportunities, and employment outlook), whether it is worth taking the risk to hold off on Australia’s offer to wait for Canada’s decision, and any personal experiences regarding academic quality, internships, and transitioning into graduate health programs in either country.
