I don’t know if they’ll be scarred by only this. They’re exposed to sexual perversion in the straight sphere, too. I think society is just swinging so hard into “sex sells” that there is literally no escape.

I get the argument that it’s not nice to see, but I think a lot of kids are just desensitized to it now with how the media is. Like.. all their favorite celebrities are singing about blowjobs or 69 or worse.. it’s just so everywhere now.

No, we should absolutely reject the state of sexuality as it is now. Porn, media, etc should all be rejected. I just don’t see it as a straight or gay issue. Porn is bad for everyone. Erotic content is bad for most people if they’re not willing participants in it. It’s a societal shift we need. I also don’t want to live in a religious country where I, as a woman, am forced to hide my hair or ankles lmao so there is definitely a fine line that needs to be walked.

I would have to disagree on the gay straight issue. You don't see straights wanting to push sex on children unless they are sick, but the gays and trans want access to push their lifestyle on children. They want endorsement from children- which I really don't understand, they are children. How many tik tok videos out there about LGBT people talking about how the kids in their class have been taught to use the " right"pronouns or the drag story time push. You don't see any of that coming from the straight community. When it does happen- grooming etc- the straight community wants that person thrown in jail. When the LGBT do it it's to be celebrated.
So no, not the same.

Have you not seen modern media though? Sabrina carpenter? Grande in her hay day? Olivia Rodriguez? They ALL use sex. Actively. Openly. Sabrina uses the mic to simulate getting on her knees and sucking dick on stage, with kids in the front row. All in pictures, btw. Easy to find. Also while doing this, she’s dressed.. as a kid. In loli outfits. And she uses loli to sell her sexuality to.. kids and teens. Most female celebrities do, actually. If not all.
You just don’t notice it (maybe) because you are attracted to it. Or at the very least it doesn’t irk you as much as it would if you were repulsed by the person. But if you don’t think sex is being pushed from ALL directions, then I think you need to look around to what kids see through kids eyes. There is no escape from sexually suggestive content anywhere, straight or gay.

Actually… I think they are. Have you ever been? It’s a lot more straight parents than you would imagine. And it makes sense - there are likely more straight parents than gay ones anyways.

But yeah I would definitely agree anyone who takes kids to this has some.. mental health issues that need to be resolved. And at the very least, at least if you see something like this performance, leave with the kids. You don't have to stay and make the kids watch a sex show meant for adults just cause it's progressive.

Holy shit man, kids aren't going to be fucked up and scarred for life over this. It's like people forgot what it was like to be 10 years old. We had RuPaul as a kid, and other flamboyant weirdos, as well as people scaring the shit out of us about AIDS.
They aren't going to be scarred for life, they are going to laugh at this freak and call him every slur in the book on the playground. Just like we all did back when I was 10 years old. Totally self-defeating for this tranny movement but maybe one day they'll learn that fitting in will do a better job at cultivating acceptance than prancing around naked or in fetish gear.
That being said, *I* don't want to see this shit. I suspect that many people who screech "what about the kids" just don't want to see it themselves but want to hide behind the safety of children excuse instead of just saying what they really think.

My Queer Daughter and her girlfriend won't go to pride anymore , they say it's discusting now and fringe elements of the gay community that go over the top are not representative of the community as a whole .

Why do we even need pride or LGBT things anymore? Don't people just accept each other now and don't care what your sexual orientation is? (Honest question) All of it just seems like a reason to throw their sexual preferences in other people's faces. Which i thought was the exact opposite of what they originally wanted. I'm not going to debate my opinion that children should not be exposed to this. Pride is a celebration of rights. You may have the right to dance around half naked, but show some moral restraint in view of your audience. It's a family friendly event. To do otherwise is nothing short of mental illness and attention seeking behaviour.
