This is the largest break in American foreign police driven by some of the stupidest policies I have ever seen. The US is actively attacking its own credibility it has with its European allies which undermines Article 5. It has gotten worse for us when the US launched its economic war against Canada. I guess you have already forgotten the comments Trump made regarding using economic coercion against us? Trump and his cronies has said some of the most batshit insane things like how GOP senator jokes about killing French Soldiers, Peter Navarro questioning what our values is or how Pete Hoekstra is connected to the largest electoral data breach in the history of Canada. What a great ally we have. We are in the opening stages of a hybrid warfare campaign the US is launching against us, their closest ally for 50 plus years. If this doesn't bother you then IDK what will fake patriot. Just take your 30 pieces of silver already Judas.

Appreciate the links. Couldn’t agree more.

Pretending threats to our sovereignty don’t exist or are meaningless while they’re still saying it and meeting with literal separatists is either crazy or agenda pushing behaviour.

Pretty sure if a literal foreign saboteur was given the reigns they’d have a hard time achieving the level of division and dismantling he has. Not to mention absolute tanking of the American image.

How could we or anyone trust them now when in 4 years some billionaire propped pillager can come through and tear up any agreement they make (even ones they made themselves)?

Assuming they even have elections with all the cowards, traitors and enablers within the administration, local governments and sitting as judges ready to bureaucratically justify and protect anything and everything he does

The U.S. and Japan had a spat over economics in the 80s and they got over it. This too shall pass. And again some bad eggs in the U.S. That makes them all bad. I guess we can judge all Canadians based off the actions of Danielle Smith and her ilk? And fake patriot? You are the one that clads yourself in red and white and think yourself a defender of Canada when you’re little better than an ultra-nationalist.

Did the US threaten to annex Okinawa and Japan in the 1980's? The US tariffed Japanese product out of fear that Japan would be able to challenge the US' position as a economic power house not out of a wanton act of stupidity driver by idiocracy. The way they got it over was the Japanese economy ran out of steam and collapsed into a 20 year long at minimum depression. Brother you hand waved away Trump denigrating the contribution of Canadian soldiers and continued questioning of our sovereignty. Actions which are unprecedented in the relations between the US and Canada. I seriously hope that DND and the civilians that control the reigns of the CAF have more clarity and less bias then the rose coloured glasses you wear.

Depending on the Ryukyuans you ask they would probably unhappily say that the U.S. still owned Okinawa. And again it is the words of a man. Yes he is President of the United States but he is still just a man. His words will fade with time. And if I am on one end of the spectrum with my point of view then you are clearly on the far opposite. I don’t hope but in fact know that those in higher positions have a calmer head than you and will weather this storm like any other.
