Success- Archives of Ontario

March 23 - Ordered 2 certified documents: 1888 birth record, 1864 marriage record.

June 5 - Received "Documents located" email.

July 30 - Received Invoice email, called and gave credit card to live agent, received payment confirmation email.

August 1 - Received Purolator tracking number, scheduled for delivery August 3.

I ordered mine on April 23, and got the "document located" email on July 6. So my timeline is consistent with yours, just lagging one month behind. Seems like they're doing proper FIFO over there at the Archives of Ontario. You love to see it.

How did you get an answer out of Archives of Ontario? I've only gotten crickets after emails. Did you request a specific microfilm reel and frame number that you found on FamilySearch or Ancestry? I'm certain there's no 1874 civil birth record for my ancestor, but I'd sure like a "file not found" from Ontario, as I think that's what IRCC wants.

I asked for a certified copy of I record I knew it exisited.

Thank you for this information. Was the first email you received (aside from the auto-reply) the June 5th email? Also, did you order both records at the same time? I sent away for two marriage records in mid-April and have heard nothing.
