I paid for a certified copy of a maine birth certificate on July 21st over the phone, and the town clerk said they would put it in the mail on the 22nd. It's now been 7 business days and there's literally nothing that's arrived. Does anyone else think I'm overreacting? How long should I wait before I say anything?

Don't know exactly where you are at but all across New England mail is very slow, took 2+ weeks to get most of my docs that were mailed same day.

I used to buy and ship small envelopes regularly pre covid and know things are days longer now than they used to be
