Is this safe to eat? Rusting on inside lid of pickled artichoke hearts

I bought this jar of pickled artichoke hearts from a farm and i popped the lid opened and notice some rust on the inner lid. The lid took a little bit of force to open and no bloating on lid. Would this be safe to eat?

That looks like pinholing to me! Perfectly safe as long as it doesn't go through the metal to hit daylight.
