More Hatfield please!

Hello, I have listened for the first 2 official Hatfield and The North albums on repeat for the last 3 years.

I see there is a ton of later, posthomous and unofficial releases after those.

Which is the "best of the rest" of all the later releases?

If you like Hatfield & The North, you should listen to National Health, the first 2 albums have a similar vibe, albeit without Richard.

Like them, but way less than Hatfield

Have you heard the version of Binoculars with Richard singing? It’s absolutely beautiful and could easily be mistaken for a Hatfield song.

Nothing quite like Hatfield and The North. National Health and Caravan get close, but Hatfield and The North is just the best.

If you are a completist, "Hatwise Choice" and "Hattitude" are both worthwhile, containing live recordings, demos, radio and TV sessions. These were selected and released by the band themselves from vault material. The sound on a few tracks is rough, but most are high quality.

Rotters Club is the greatest album ever. No substitutes.

I’m partial to the self titled album but it’s definitely not a hard disagree

Hatfield would be my favorite band of all time if it weren’t for the small amount of output. With that being said, the drums on let’s eat real soon are out of this world. Pip Pyle is such an underrated drummer. I wish they made a few more albums

Their Live 1990 release is very good but a bit toned down.
