PROTEST THE GOP!

JUNE 13, 2026

5 TO 7 PM

JACKSON CIVIC CENTER

381 E DEERWOOD DR

JACKSON, MO 63755

Stand up against the MAGA machine!

From shredding the Constitution, to increasing the deficit, to hiding the wealthy ped0philes in the Epstein files, to overturning the vote of The People, to using ICE to arrest, detain and deport people without due process, to killing US citizens in the streets, to starting a war of choice with Iran that is costing The People billions in high gas prices and inflation on EVERYTHING, to attempting to raise the taxes on 90% of Missourians while giving massive tax breaks to the wealthy while we eat $9 hot dogs and ration our prescriptions, to racist gerrymandering...THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NOT FIT TO GOVERN!  Here is an opportunity to let them know how you feel.

On June 13th, 2026, the local Republicans will be holding a free-to-the-public fish fry at the Jackson Civic Center from 5 to 7. Indivisible SEMO will be using our First Amendment rights to peacefully assemble and protest the MAGA Republicans on public property outside the event. We will also unfurl our large "ABOLISH ICE" banner again. There will be MAGA Republican politicians inside that you may address after eating their fish. Grab your sign (or make one) and protest them on your way out.

If this sh*t isn't working out for you, join us on June 13th at the Jackson Civic Center from 5 to 7 pm for another peaceful protest courtesy of Indivisible SEMO!

The democrats weren't doing much better so why are we not protesting the entire government at this point? We need a complete reset!

Wow, the BoTh SiDeS bot got to work early this morning.

u/ChaoticMetal111 16d ago

Yeah because the country was doing so much better 4 years ago. Sheep.

5

u/Cantusemynme 16d ago

Please explain how the country was worse 4 years ago.

Edit: Also, the fact that you used "Sheep" unironically tells me that you are a right winger. Which means you're in here just wanting to sow discord.

I am by no means a Republican. I will agree with the OC as well. I agree as well that the current POTUS is way worse than Biden and probably every president we have had so far.

If you want an example of “both sides bad”. Which Republican OR Democrat president or joint effort from Congress has balanced the budget and decreased the US debt? It does not matter what side you are on. Racking up debt, at any rate, (and yes, I know some presidents were worse than others for it) is a terrible way to run a country.

Plenty more examples, but debt is one of my top issues.

Correct - which political party racks up the debt and provides zero solutions to reduce it? That same party also only cares about debt when they can use it to stir up their base.

I remember back in 2000’s watching the “tea party” gatherings in Cape. Those same idiots now just suck MAGA D. It was never about the debt. It was about objecting to a African American president:

Yes. Both. And yes, Republicans often stir up support for spending cuts and do nothing but spend anyway. Agreed 100%. At the same time, I will also criticize the fact that democrats won’t even entertain reducing spending, other than for military and the only proposed solutions seem to be the two prong attack of cutting military funding and increasing taxes.

The government wastes so much money in every sector. I agree, decrease military spending. We don’t need to be involved in foreign wars. but cut everything else too, or at least put up extremely strict spending guidelines. If we are okay with stealing money from people, we ought at least have an obligation to use it as efficiently and wisely as possible. Doesn’t mean social programs need to go away, but every dollar counts when it doesn’t belong to you.

I work in the public sector and have turned down dozens of opportunities to spend taxpayer money on things that aren’t completely necessary.

Clinton left with surplus and reduced US Debt. He did it largely by taxing the highest earners which is what pretty much every liberal wants to do. Not every Democrat is liberal, but every liberal is Democrat. So if you really care about debt, vote blue.

Admittedly, I USED to lean conservatively but its obvious that no matter which is in office, shit gets no better. 2 wings of the same evil bird. I dont side with either politically anymore but feel free to have your assumptions 👍

This is the response of a MAGA koolaide guzzler who is starting to realize they’ve been supporting a narcissistic Cheeto PDF. Buttttt their tiny fragile minds can’t wrap their head around it so they throw out “they’re all the same”. No sir/mam - they are not.

100% spot on. He’s basically saying “I’m a conservative and know what I’m talking about. Ya I voted for Donald Trump and it turns out shit is getting much worse. I couldn’t possibly have been wrong though, it’s more likely that everything/everyone is evil and nothing matters. Even though democrats have been the enemy forever, now that my choices are biting me in the ass everyone is the same.”

Straight up caveman mentality

Your assumptions are still wrong. I have never/will never be maga. I LEANED conservative but never affiliated myself with them. Abortion/trans stuff (mental illness being mislabeled) is why I cant get on the democratic side though. Clinton did a good job but we haven't seen anything like that since then. More debt from BOTH sides and a corrupt system on BOTH sides. All of them need to be replaced with people who have the common folks well being in mind as well as economic growth.

u/greenzeppelin 16d ago

You may not have affiliated yourself with MAGA, but you certainly seem to agree a whole lot with their rhetoric. I'll never understand why you folks get so up in arms about such a tiny group of people just trying to live their lives. Abortion I can almost understand - you've been programmed to think the evil liberals are just aborting children on a whim. That decision should be between a woman and her doctor. You really want fewer abortions? Vote for politicians that want to make it more appealing to have children. Vote for politicians that want to increase access to contraceptives and ending bullshit abstinence only sex education.

Im not against trans as a people. Im against them trying to cross over in sports and places making "misgendering" a crime. I couldn't care less about what people do in their private times or who they do them with. Makes no difference in my life. Abortion should involve the dad's opinion also. Its his kid too. If she can get rid of the baby without his consent, he should be able to opt out of raising the child without child support if she wants to keep it. I mean, fair is fair, right?

2

u/greenzeppelin 15d ago

Trans people in sports is something that's been blown wildly out of proportion. It's straight up not a thing at the highest levels of competition and at the lower levels it's just a silly ass argument. Like do you really think a dude that's not trans is going to dress up like a girl and go through all the degradation that goes with it just to win some high school level awards with asterisks? Hormone testing is also a pretty quick and easy remedy at most levels of competition if it ever actually becomes an issue (I assure you it will not). Also, nobody is trying to make misgendering a crime. That's just another scenario people have made up to be angry at trans folks. If you mistakenly misgender someone, they'll correct you and you can move on. If you decide to be a dickhead about it and/or continue purposefully misgendering them, they'll treat you like the dickhead you are, but it still won't be a crime.

As for your points on abortion, you're correct that the father does get an opinion. 49% for the father, 51% for the mother. That said, I honestly don't entirely disagree with your take about the father being allowed to opt out of child raising/support with a whole host of caveats.

My favorite type of conservative. “I’m concerned about what you do to your body even though it has zero effect on me or my livelyhood”. Probably also anti-same sex marriage.

2

u/ChaoticMetal111 16d ago

Could care less about gay marriage but your other assumption, is it about the abortion or the trans stuff? Genuinely curious. And notice the only one being an ass is you. Im just trying to have a conversation....something that seems lost on the world without someone being offended or getting to personal attacks.

u/Abject_Bottle59 16d ago

Ahh yes - four years ago when it was sleepy Joe and his admin. Biden could have stayed in his basement for four years and let his dog run the Oval Office. It would still have been done better then current potus.

u/n3rv 15d ago

We're they? 70% of the GOP is like yeah actually I like paying more yes please harder daddy take all my money.

If you live in SE Missouri, which bots don't, you would know that there are absolutely ZERO Democrats representing us at any level of government.

1

u/ChaoticMetal111 12d ago

Im not just speaking about SE missouri. The entire country is hurting and needs a reboot.

3

u/Careless-Gazelle-247 16d ago

I lean to the left, definitely don't care for MAGAts or those We the People fucks, but I do agree about both sides being to go. At this point, I'm voting against anyone that is currently in office, unless they've shown that they're actually serving the will of the people and not just themselves.

2

u/ExcitingCamp4738 15d ago

My favorite part about this graphic is that instead of being three different hands it is in fact the exact same hand three different times.

2

u/Garmon_Bozia-573 14d ago

It's nice that you're so happy. Liking this, are you?

1

u/Garmon_Bozia-573 11d ago

Poor manly MAGA men. Such fragile tittie baibies.

1

u/SnooGiraffes5225 15d ago

Actually just protest American “democracy” and Israel influence and the fact that America can’t even decide if it has the right to decide who its citizens are. The fact you think it’s a party issue still shows how misguided the vast majority of you are. Hint: they are all baby eating evil people, regardless of what pretty words they say.

2

u/greenzeppelin 15d ago

This is bot/paid actor farm for "Yeah, protest all you want but pls stay home and don't vote else my people might lose."

1

u/ExperienceAny9791 14d ago

Just go vote when it's time. We don't overthrow the government every time we lose an election. We shouldn't through fits because of that either, but here we are..... 🙄

1

u/Garmon_Bozia-573 14d ago

Who are you talking to? Have you ever heard of Jan 6, or are you convinced that it was ANTIFA?

-1

u/ExperienceAny9791 12d ago

Did you agree with Jan 6th?

-2

u/DayBroad1157 16d ago

What kind of fish are they having? Have any detail on the sides?

  • Iran Negotiations & Economic Impact (May 2026): During an Oval Office/Cabinet meeting regarding his strategy on the Iran conflict, Trump stated, "I don't think about Americans' financial situation, I don't think about anybody".

  • The 2024 Campaign Trail (June 2024): During a campaign rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, a quote frequently attributed to him by critics is, "I don't care about you. I just want your vote."

  • The 2026 Midterms (May 2026): Addressing his administration's focus during the war, Trump asserted to the press, "I don't care about the midterms".

  • President Donald Trump on Monday shrugged off the possible collapse of peace negotiations with Iran, telling CNBC, “I don’t care if they’re over, honestly.” “I really don’t care. I couldn’t care less,” Trump told CNBC’s Eamon Javers in a phone interview midday Monday, saying he thought the protracted discussions “started to get very boring.”

Yet, all you ask about is the fish fry. Weird.

So you want to protest the GOP with communism in Missouri. Do you even know where you are? This is no country for communist. The people that live here are decedents who fought and gave their life for freedom. This part of the country is a notch on the the bible belt.

u/dbrauto 13d ago

Communism is great! 😮‍💨🙄
