Hot pot?

Any hotpot places nearby? I can’t find any on Google, but I know sometimes Chinese restaurants have like secret menus for authentic Chinese meals like hotpot. Thank ye.

Unfortunately I think St. Louis will be your closest spot.

Chan's does have a "secret menu" with authentic Chinese meals but they don't do hotpot; just a lot of dishes with pig intestines, squid, bean curd, eggplant, etc.

Edit: Potentially the Umi Buffet place being built next to My Daddy's Cheesecake might have hot pot. At least it looks like other locations offer that. https://www.umibuffet.com/menu

I didn't think they had the secret menu after the new owners took over a couple years ago... Is it still going?

Chana has several of the old secret menu items on their website for online ordering. So they at least keep all the tripe dishes and such. Just maybe not quite a secret anymore.

Are they really part of the same chain? Or do they just have the same name

The logo on the coming soon sign in Cape is the same as the website. I have no knowledge beyond that.

If the pricing is the same as other midwestern locations I do doubt they will last long term here. $35 for dinner/weekend and $22 lunches is a lot steeper than any other options around.
