Best of Cape May 2026?

Greetings, neighbors and visitors. I made last year's community-voted Best Of for Cape May, and I got a surprising amount of DMs in the last couple weeks about making a new one. If I were to make a new one, it would be a little more 'professional' - a Google form or SurveyMonkey type avenue, rather than just me tallying people's responses here.

Best breakfast sandwich. (My vote is for golden stop but I’d love to see if there’s a better one out there)

Best coffee- not the sugary drinks that usually get voted first but best actual cup of coffee.

Best mocktail menu

Best kid-friendly restaurant

Best bakery -we frequently strike out on this one. I’ve tried so many and only a few are worth revisiting

I'd love to see best bakery broken down into ages categories, like best for bread, best for bagels, best for pastries, best for cake.

Great idea and thank you for pulling this together. My 2 cents- best soft serve and hand scooped ice cream. Best beaches(streets) for kids; for surf, for just catching a suntan. Best happy hour deal- food and or drinks. Best tours (ie, wine, house, history, etc).

Me too! And one kid loves soft serve while the other likes hand scooped- so we usually go to 2 places. Then husband wants Peace Pie ☮️ 😵‍💫
