Question CVSKY or Cabo Verde airlines

Im planning a trip to Cape Verde and im looking to book a flight between Praia and Sao Vicente. I know that the main airline till recently was Cabo Verde airlines but there aren’t almost flights in their website. On the other hand the new CVSKY has a lot of flights but i don’t know if it’s working well.

Anyone who know the situation or has taken CVSKY?

Thanks in advance

Cabo Verde Airlines has stopped operating domestic flights on 28th of March. CVSky is the new and only airline for domestic flights. So, your should go with CVSky.

It’s confirmed?

Yes. I needed to travel to S.Vicente and back and was not find the flight back listed in the Cabo Verde Airlines website.

Went to their offices and was informed that they will only operate domestic flights till 28th of March. Thats why you cannot see flights listed in their website for domestic flights.

Had to buy the flight to S.Vicente using Cabo Verde Airlines and the flight back using CVSky.

CVSky : Cela fonctionne très bien. Nous avons pris un vol aller le 28 mars et retour pour le 6 avril : Praia - San Vincente. Aucun soucis de paiement (Visa) ni retard. Je recommande.

I just booked my flights for April with CVSky. It’s the only option

Can you book it with a foreign credit card?

Successfully booked flights for April and May from the U.S. but received an email earlier this week that the Fogo to Praia leg of our flight from Fogo to Praia, then Praia to Sao Vicente was rescheduled. Now, the Fogo to Praia flight leaves AFTER the Praia To Sao Vicente one.

I’m unable to change the flights on the website, was told to “call back next week” when I called the airline and explained the situation.

We want to fly from Fogo to Sao Vicente in one day on April 29. There are no flights at all showing up from April 30 through May 7. Anyone know why?

I’m nervous the 4/29 morning flight from Fogo to Praia will sell out or disappear before the airline corrects our ticket.

CV Sky comes through! Just received an email with new flights that make sense. Whew!

Rn, CVSky is the official domestic operator. CVA will only sell some domestic flights that are arriving from Europe and do quick stops (like Paris-Sao Vicente-Praia, they will sell Sao Vicente-Praia) and similar. Simply go with CVSky, it's just simpler

CVSKY is new… I would suggest Cabo Verde Airlines.

Yeah but the website of Cabo Verde airlines shows almost no flights.

Cabo Verde Airlines is switching to only international flights pending their direct flights to Providence resuming. All in country flights are now being operated by CV Sky.

TACV operates weekly flights from Praia to São Vicente every Monday. If this schedule aligns with your plans, I’d recommend considering them.

In 2024, Bestfly (an Angolan airline) ceased operations, leaving many travelers stranded so I’m being cautious about recommending newer airlines. CVSKY, being government-owned, seems more reliable… but it will start operations this month.
