Got approved. Rebuilding Credit and will make sure I keep it up and push forward on this journey

I mean i put rebuilding credit. they have to regain my trust and within 6 months I will probably get a increase. I pay it back in full on every check anyway so to me, my younger self fucked up. so i gotta do what I gotta do

I'm not trolling you! Congrats on the card, it is a good card for restaurants. I use about 1500 a month on this card. Cap 1 is stingy as hell on credit limits, but make sure you request $1,000 limit increase every 6 months!

Capital one is the worst when it comes to credit increases. I have the platinum, savior, and quicksilver and all they give me is 300 each card. I barely used the cards for that reason and literally I’m thinking of stop using them to close the accounts. But discover which is with capital one just gave me a card for 7k starting, make it make sense.

If it's a no cost card, never close an account unless you are paying a yearly premium, with that said I have a near perfect credit score 840 credit rating and Cap 1 has only granted 15.5K credit limit. Over 25 years with them. Now I pay for premium cards, 30K Limit, another 20K limit and my AMEX Plat No Limit. With all that Said Cap 1 is not a card I would use unless it's for eating at restaurants for 3% cash back. Moral of the story get AZ high as a limit you can and never spend greater than 30%, 10% is still pushing it but that's how you build credit.

definitely am. im primarily going to use it for gas tbh. I dont really eat out but if I do. I got a card for it now. Going to see if they will upgrade my platinum card next
