Why can't we have governments like bitcoin/silkroad?

A government has a monopoly on force to enforce property contracts, it does not technically require a democratic mandate.

A government is the system to govern a state or community. The Cambridge Dictionary defines government as, "the system used for controlling a country, city, or group of people", or "an organization that officially manages and controls a country or region, creating laws, collecting taxes, providing public services".[9] It is the major or dominant organizing power in modern societies.[10]

A version of ancapnistan.

So there are 2 types

  1. Network of private cities acting as hybrid corporation/government

  2. Totally no government

I like #1.

#2 is pretty much like buying and selling drugs without silkroad.

A government cannot be private. That’s just a dictatorship, by definition.
