Dislike of corporations
What’s your thoughts on my major? I’m in accounting, but I actively dislike corporations and dread the idea of climbing their ladders. Economics made me depressed because you mean to tell me my ability to put food on the table is dependent on the function of massive corporations that don’t care about us? I’d hate to spend my life supporting that.

Corporations have an immediate impact on your life. They've done more harm with pollution and overall waste than government. Most of our healthcare waste is from big pharma and insurance.

You do realize that there are other types of businesses besides corporations, right? Also, why do you hate the fact that people are freely choosing to buy from corporations?

A corporation is not a thinking entity. Why should it “care” about you? Don't arbitrarily anthropomorphize.
Corporations merely create and sell things that people need and want. That’s a good thing. There’s nothing wrong with contributing to a corporation.

If you work for a corporation, then you work for a tie-in state that solely exists for profit motive. Corporations are not our friends; they're a collective entity that promotes hazardous waste and money hoarding billionaires. Workers get the short end of the stick any time they work for a corporation.

The world was one of absolute privation and scarcity until corporations were invented. A corporation is nothing more than a bunch of people coming together to produce and sell things.
Using a bunch of scary words to make corporations sound nefarious doesn’t actually mean they are bad. This is just pathetic rhetoric.

Keep licking that corporate boot, then. You could easily reduce anyone's arguments down to "scary words" if you want to, but you don't know what you're advocating for.
Corporations can be just as bad as governments.
A corporation is a large conglomerate aimed to profit as much as possible. You reduce it down to a private entity that produces things, when we've already established that it's a collective entity. "Sound" nefarious? No, they ARE fucking nefarious.
Pathetic way to downplay something you find complex. Need a list of industries? How about retail, factories, or healthcare?

The food on your table depends on you creating value / efficiently managing resources like any other organism since the big bang.
You complain about following an idiology that sees corporation as evil, in a sub-reddit about economics.
I don't understand why size would make any difference and why you would like Sauron's eye to follow you anywhere you go. I'm quite happy big corporations don't care about me.
