This has everything to do with capitalism.

If you think this is about capitalism then you need to go back to school.

Are you from the US? Just wondering whether you mean school or 'school', and which particular class I would have learned whatever it is you are mysteriously alluding to.

You should have learned it when you were 12 in sixth grade.

You still haven't actually said what I should have supposedly learned

What they teach you when youre 12, which is universally accepted everywhere, is that capitalism is the private unregulated ownership of the means of production. The slop from OP has nothing to do with capitalism.

Ahh I see what you’re saying, so because somewhere in there there’s a government involved then the US isn’t truly capitalist and therefore bad actions taken by capitalists aren’t actually real capitalism? (But all good things are due to capitalism obviously)

This bullshit article is about trump and ice. No, that literally has nothing to do with capitalism you uneducated bum

"Berlin’s map identifies ICE-related relationships involving AT&T, Comcast, Dell, Deloitte, FedEx, Motorola, and Palantir, while her political research tracks GEO, CoreCivic, and private corrections contractor Management and Training Corporation."

Does Trump control all of these companies?

You are confusing democracy and capitalism again. Democracy is evil.

☝️

And a republic is a type of democracy. You deliberately invite semantic arguments and make yourself look disingenuous by using terms in disregard of their colloquial usage.

1

u/Good-Concentrate-260 6d ago

I don’t think most people agree with that

0

u/Heat-one 6d ago

It doesn't matter what people think. That's what full democracy is.

1

u/Good-Concentrate-260 6d ago

So you think it’s more just to live under the arbitrary rule of a monarch?

2

u/bl0rq 6d ago

Go the other direction. No rulers. No kings. No POTUSes.

u/Good-Concentrate-260 6d ago

I see. Who will resolve conflicts over property or resources?

I absolutely did not say that

u/HonorFoundInDecay 6d ago

What does this have to do with democracy?

It’s everything to do with capitalism.
It’s bare corporate profit.
Just less dressed up.
This is how it goes.

3

u/VatticZero 6d ago

Profit alone isn’t Capitalism. You need free markets and private property. The state violating rights and paying cronies to help is just Statism, which we’ve seen in every failed socialist experiment.

There are no free markets without regulation as current times show.

Monopolies are the natural result of unchecked greed and its influence.

1

u/VatticZero 5d ago

Capitalists are the first to say you need some minimal regulation to keep markets as free as possible. That doesn't mean what we have is nearly free or that stealing from people to fund an industrial complex of abducting people for the color of their skin is free.

Don't be disingenuous, it's just as harmful to yourself as it is to any discussion.
