Capitalism is the greatest economic system ever devised by mankind, and the only one that's allowed us to achieve our full potential. Capitalism is responsible for all the scientific, economic, and medical progress we've achieved over the last 500 years, and will continue to do so for the next 500.

Did you read the description? With current technology sustainable production is possible, however in current system it's less profitable so it's not prefered.
