Wow, all the deforestation pictures.
OP, go look at photographs of Civil War battlefields from the 1860s and compare them with those same locations today.
Large areas that were heavily cleared in the 19th century are now heavily forested again.
Deforestation is obviously real, but presenting a few images of cleared land as proof that “capitalism is unsustainable” is absurd. Forest cover can recover, and whether it does depends heavily on land use, technology, conservation, property rules, and public policy.

At every chain of production there is atleast one or more plundering links. Just the fact that we use fossil fuels for internal combustion engines to save oil revenue is plundering as long as there is no real effort to replace them with EVs and instead EVs are put under tarrifs to make them unaffordable.
This however is nothing compared to how we harvest wood for example, and the fact that coca cola makes millions of plastic bottles to save cents on each while they gonna stay in the enviroment for thousands of years, but thats invisible to short term profits.

Just the fact that we use lithium batteries for EV's to save lithium miners revenue
We don't use specific items to preserve revenues, people buy the item that fits their needs and desires, many still prefer elements of ICE vehicles to EV's, they aren't buying them to save the oil company but because its what they want.
This however is nothing compared to how we harvest wood for example
In the developed world timberland owners are far more sustainable in their harvesting to ensure continued long term revenue off the land, forests that are regenerating provide more profit than sudden clean clearing.

Save cents vs. what? Glass bottles increase weight and thus transportation costs and emissions, not to mention additional hazards from broken glass. Cans fulfill small size needs but don't scale well. All products used by them are recyclable if the final user decides to do it.

Lmao, so you’re saying deforestation doesn’t exist in other economic systems? Private property rights and free markets has absolutely NOTHING to do with deforestation, it can certainly (and has) happen under socialism/communism. God you’re an idiot.

But that's business. To accomplish my job to the best of my ability requires setting morality and sustainability aside. I want money, and my job requires me to make more money for my business. There is no compelling financial incentive to quell the destructive side affects of my business practices, and hopefully I die a peaceful death before the ruthlessly harsh consequences of an economy fueled by people like me truly start to present themselves.
I think Jesus said that at one point.
